  1. Haha well you're 0/1 already this offseason BBBB!
  2. Like the Dickey situation? No, I can't see them agreeing to an extension somewhere they get traded to without testing the market.
  3. I'll bet anyone $20 that EE and Jose are Jays come opening day. They aren't going to waive their 10/5 rights.
  4. Ya, Detroit will be lucky if Norris ever resembles something like Smyly.
  5. He didn't want to get into "hypotheticals". Bobcat asking some pretty good questions. Definitely respect AA wanting to keep tight lips.
  6. AA avoiding Bobcat's question about if he would've had the same amount of autonomy under Shapiro.
  7. Nice. Trouble and jaysblue with the same avatar.
  8. Goldy getting some love from his peers.
  9. Halladay trade coming full circle!
  10. After reading through this thread, lots of people obviously have an emotional attachment to AA for bringing playoff baseball back to Toronto. Which is fair given the playoffs aren't even over yet. I would have liked to have seen what AA had in store for this offseason. But the aggressiveness of Shapiro should give any Jays fan confidence in him. He's coming in and taking a hold of the bull by the horns. No pussy footin' around and worrying about hurting anyone's feelings. If you're going to give the guy full power, this is the way you'd like to see him approach it. Here's hoping AA's next job is on the NL.
  11. Not really non news though, considering the rotation is the biggest question mark heading into next year.
  12. I wake up and there is already 14 pages. I love this board.
  13. If this is the case then yes.
  14. Not sure about this either. I thought the fifth year brought him to Toronto.
  15. I know you've said that a few times which makes me think someone in the org might feel the same. If that's the case then it's pretty hard to criticize, not that AA would ever come out and say that.
  16. Ya I definitely won't be surprised to see him back there. I don't think it's the right way to approach it either but it's a sticky spot to be honest.
  17. Thankfully the Jays won't have to battle with Jack Z over all of those outfielders.
  18. I'll puke if Sanchez makes a start next year.
  19. Surely I'll catch heat for this but I think the best thing for both the Jays and Osuna is for him to be the long man in 2016. Make 15 or so inevitable starts out of the pen and come back in 2017 with an opportunity to start.
  20. For sure you'd take that from him. I guess if that happens, I'd always have the "what if" taste in my mouth wondering what he could've done as a starter.
  21. Ya they've kind of had their hand forced with this issue. I'm really quite interested to see how this regime handles him.
