  1. Need a stream... Spanky where you at??
  2. Unless Scott Boras is paying his guys who suffer career altering injuries a good will allowance I don’t really care what his advice is. The more money you make the more money he makes. If you tear your ACL he moves onto the next cash cow. You work your whole life to get to the show. Someone shoves 100M in front of you and that’s yours if you sign on the dotted line. Take the security and tell Scott to beat it.
  3. Why the f*** would someone turn down 100M at 24 or whatever he is? You guys realize most players don’t care about the spreadsheet math right? Oh no he left 18M in surplus value on the table lol Bregman. Good on him for getting paid, and securing himself and his family for life.
  4. I wouldn’t mind moving Mitch Haniger for an equal 3B/2B type. Would be interested in prospects too to facilitate a potential three way trade. I have some CF depth and could use an infielder.
  5. You’re the last person on planet earth who should be questioning anyone’s ability to do anything
  6. So DickPole and BBBB were only interested in the Jays fixing the entitre pay structure of the minors. Nothing more nothing less, gotcha
  7. Lots of prospects jam 7 guys in a 2 bedroom apartment because they can’t afford anything else. That is mind boggling
  8. A fantastic and noble move by the Jays. Will certainly put pressure on other teams to follow suit and hopefully this is the beginning of paying these guys a living wage while they’re in season. Nobody should have to quit playing because they can’t afford to continue playing financially.
  9. I’d pick Groshans
  10. Yes they do. It’s crazy that they haven’t bitten that bullet yet. If Albert Pujols is taking AB’s away from Ohtani when Mike Trout is on your team are you really trying to compete?
  11. This is the worst BJMB battle I’ve seen in a while
  12. 100%. Anyone who laughs at having veterans around citing vetrin presents as their reasoning really doesn’t understand the dynamic of building a team. Good on Giles for taking the lead and who the f*** is David Paulino to think he can take the option on PFPs? I guarantee guys like Scherzer and Kershaw don’t take the option on fundamental drills like this. Why? Because they understand leading by example and the importance of doing the little things properly and with intent.
  13. No I don’t either, but I enjoy the creative thinking on Abom’s part.
  14. I believe its 1 in 2 Americans In before someone tries explaining to me why BMI isn't an accurate indication of health.
  15. Canadians aren’t the ones with an obesity epidemic but I digress
  16. I see hypertension and diabetes in your future based on the sheer volume of peanut and soda consumption. You’ll have more in common than not with the majority of Americans!
  17. It would be in addition to guaranteed money. That's an interesting idea from Abom. Having incentive to promote yourself, your team and the league could butter both sides of the bread. Now there will be guys who just aren't that popular, ugly, aren't big social media guys etc. But it's a dog eat dog world where only the strong survive. There would also be an influx of middle aged dudes crying about what d-bags these guys must be to take selfies and promote themselves on Instagram because they're jealous of the chicks they bang and the cars they drive.
  18. It would be awesome to have AA breakout this year. Although I’m not sure Grichuk needs to worry about his spot in the OF
  19. Bro u need to learn that 85 mph is a Juco fastball, not a major league one. I’m not trolling you at all, just calling a spade a spade. That is not a fastball by any definition and you used it in an attempt to illustrate Rowdy’s lack of bat speed. SJF made the same point and you doubled down on it. I’m not wrong here. I don’t think Tellez is very good. There’s like a 5% chance he’s a useful ML piece. I agree with you there.
  20. Is your argument that Rowdy doesn’t have the bat speed to hit 85 mph then?
  21. I understand the contrarian point of view and sticking to your guns, but at some point you’ve gotta realize that your idea can’t be justified.
