  1. Accurate recap
  2. Toronto so desperate for CF they promise him a full time starting gig and beg him to sign Sperm is so smrt
  3. Yup exactly. Start every 6 days and play the field like 3 or 4.
  4. Dodgers are sitting out this year to hand out the biggest contract in league history to Ohtani next year
  5. He might win the Cy Young this year
  6. Merry Christmas
  7. Ah didn’t realize Feyereisen was out for 2023
  8. Exactly. Broken system But here is a competitive balance pick Pittsburgh so that kid you develop can go play for the Mets in 8 years and earn 55M/year. That’ll keep things even. Pour all your resources into development I guess?
  9. Lmao ... what are unions for?!
  10. I think there is only so much room on the roster and they chose Bassitt over Stripling. They’re going to plant Kikuchi in the rotation because they have to and that fills the rotation. Stripling didn’t want to be a depth starter/swing man and you can’t blame him.
  11. I agree this is better than the Bogey deal because Correa is a superior player with skills that should age better. I think it’s ridiculous that these guys are signing mega deals for 4 extra years in order to push AAV down. I don’t think it’s good for the game but it is what it is. Ohtani is gonna get 12/480 next year and he’s another UCL injury away from being a 40M DH until he’s 40+ If teams have this much cash they should be paying minor leaguers and pre arb guys more $$$.
  12. Happ was really good for the Jays
  13. Connorp says this is a great deal and some teams just operate differently Absolutely insane. And hilariously bad when you could’ve signed him last year instead for probably 2/3 the price and length.
  14. Feyereisen had an ERA of 0.00 this year “Nice year kid, but we are going to have to let you go” What a world
  15. Primed for a rebound campaign
  16. No I’m saying it’s a huge positive having the amount of flexibility they do with the roster. Fluidity! Kinda like the Rays or Dodgers
  17. Yes it definitely is C- Kirk/Jano/Moreno 1B- Vlad/LGJ/Biggio 2B- Espinal/Merrifield/Biggio/Moreno 3B- Chapman/Espinal/Moreno SS- Bichette/Espinal CF- KK/Springer/Merrifield LF- Gurriel/Biggio/Moreno RF- Springer/Biggio/Merrifield Plus whatever 4th OF they bring in
  18. I thought it was pretty elementary what I was saying considering every team has a bench with backup players
  19. The Saskatchewan Roughriders live in the Queen City
  20. Multiple to cover each position Only one competent back up shortstop
  21. The lineup is super deep if you keep both catchers and use Moreno as a super utility guy. Multiple guys to cover every position except maybe SS
  22. I would. That’s a team loaded with talent, their arrow is squarely pointed up. Giants are meh
  23. Diamondbacks are probably better than the Giants
  24. I’d do Cobb for Jansen but doubt that’s a fit at this point, I’m sure they would’ve made that move instead of Bassitt and used the $ on an outfielder
