  1. At the end of the day you hope they’re healthy at the end of September and the rest of the team did enough to make the playoffs. Then you have a dynamite 1-2 punch at the top of your rotation
  2. Pretty much. He’s going to be known as one of the greatest Dodgers ever, spend his entire career there and have a chance at a WS every year. He doesn’t need 80M to move home to Dallas and play for a bad team.
  3. I would imagine it has to do with the winning part
  4. Probably better than signing deGrom for 5 years Well played Steve
  5. Schilling, Bonds, Clemens, they all deserve to be in the hall. The fact that they aren’t is a joke and tarnishes what the HOF is IMO
  6. Nothing says all in like paying two 40 year olds 80M a season to pitch 40% of your games How many starters like those two end up retiring on their own after a good season? I don’t have the answer but doesn’t feel like very many. What seems most likely is either an injury or decline in performance forces them to retire. Not a great outcome either way.
  7. The Mets will end up giving him 3/120
  8. There’s no question Curt Schilling belongs in the HOF
  9. I would love Andrew Heaney
  10. Please don’t trade Gabby to the f***ing Rays
  11. If deGrom had been healthy the last two years he would’ve got 5/225 or something ridiculous. His price reflects the injury risk The dumb part is a team like Texas taking that risk
  12. Rangers still suck but will be tough to beat once every five days
  13. Sounds like a complete douchebag
  14. They’re so damn hard to get ahold of lol
  15. Ah okay that makes perfect sense Post his roster
  16. I can never find good CF so not too eager to move him anywhere Was just trying to think of mid range players and pair them with good young SP’s Jazz Chisholm or Dansby Swanson would work too
  17. Why not just keep Betts?
  18. I hope so. I enjoy Buck, it’s when he’s paired with Tablet that is brutal
  19. Nice guy, terrible in the booth. Enjoy retirement Patty
  20. I’m busy recruiting
  21. Probably all over the diamond. SS/2B/OF. I’d imagine they would make him a super utility guy
  22. Way too many pieces If I’m trading Mookie I want the package to be something like Corbin Carroll + Dylan Cease Or Cedric Mullins + Spencer Strider Something like that
  23. Sounds like you need to join the BBDL board league. We are looking for new owners.
  24. I do too. The opportunity to be a Yankee for life will be too much for him to turn down I think
  25. Terrible place to hit, bad team, tough division. Seems unlikely he’s really that interested
