  1. Sounds like you need to join the BBDL board league. We are looking for new owners.
  2. I do too. The opportunity to be a Yankee for life will be too much for him to turn down I think
  3. Terrible place to hit, bad team, tough division. Seems unlikely he’s really that interested
  4. Pretty good offer. I don’t know how much more he can realistically expect to get. Does anyone go add two years and go 10/375? I kinda doubt it.
  5. As a hitting coach?
  6. This was my first thought.
  7. I hope he is nice to everyone and treats them fairly
  8. You guys are forgetting about Kyle Tucker It’s hilarious how Dusty hit his third (second?) best hitter like 6th all year and in the playoffs
  9. lol lol
  10. Doubtful Teoscar is worth 4 wins next year. Yes it is very unlikely the Jays sign someone for 1/13 worth 4 WAR. More realistic is they brought in a 1 WAR reliever and have x million to address the outfield and improve the defense. I said earlier the Mariners moved a good BP arm and a good prospect so that they don’t have to commit to 5 years of a corner OF.
  11. Let me know which direction you’re going, I would make you an offer too
  12. That is a ton of CF hoarding Smush them into one player and they would equal Brandon Marsh
  13. Of course they’re going to replace it Connor. They aren’t planning on running Biggio out there full time. The trade haters always fail to mention the extra 13M this move frees up to address other soft spots on the roster. There’s no question this move will allow them to be a little more creative in the players they go after. The Jays don’t have to be an offensive powerhouse with questionable pitching every year. Swanson + new SP + new OF Teo + new SP + new BP Those are the two equations that will probably be compared to start 2023
  14. When Sperm wakes from his mid afternoon nap he’s going to have an aneurysm
  15. 2.5 WAR players with one year of control are completely replaceable. Everyone likes Teoscar because he hits home runs and has a nice smile.
  16. Seattle gave up Swanson and Macko to replace Haniger because they don’t wanna pay a 30 year old corner outfielder for 5+ years Seattle didn’t make some super aggressive win now move. They moved one of their better bullpen arms to keep the offence status quo
  17. Huge if true
  18. Didn’t know Swanson was a Fargo guy. Good interview thanks for sharing!!
  19. Looks like Gibby is back home in Montana
  20. Sperm is assuming everyone will be paid the same. Length of contract and AAV effects player values
  21. Honestly it’s getting worse It’s like a bad car accident. You want to avoid it but you can’t help but look
  22. No but from a Phillies standpoint getting him back into the OF or even 1B eventually allows them the fluidity to use the DH as need be later into his contract
  23. I’m sure he’ll DH pretty much the entirety of 2023. Doubt he plays a single inning in the OF. I don’t believe this is a precursor to future injuries. TJS is the byproduct of repeated unnatural actions and not necessarily an indication of being injury prone. Surgery is wildly successful and this is a necessary step to get him back into the OF 2024 and beyond
  24. I wonder if he likes to dump sunflower seeds on his teammates when they hit home runs that cut the deficit to 6?
