  1. The Dodgers are the class of the league and maybe the four major sports because they spend more than anyone else and are the best developmental org in baseball I don’t understand why there is this much resistance to what you’re saying. I thought those points were quite commonly accepted Also you’re right about the 160 inning benchmark too. Over the last 5 seasons there’s like ten examples of teams that have at least 3 starters throw 160+ innings
  2. It is really hard to tell that you’re done with the argument after continuing to argue your position lol
  3. It’s an awkward headline that’s for sure lol But you’re right can’t blame the dad who tries to develop their son as long as dad isn’t a douche bag. Many such examples
  4. Man I’ve often wondered this as well. Not that it matters but it’s an interesting thought Bless anyone who adopts kids
  5. .342 babip lol And to think I wanted to extend Danny Jansen at one point
  6. I’d do it for my son if I could Zero shame from me
  7. Did anyone know Tyler Heineman was worth 2 WAR this year in 64 games and 174 PAs? That is nuts
  8. I meant Bo’s but I guess they both seem player friendly
  9. Not crazy about giving him 10 years just to lower AAV This is how the Padres backed themselves into a corner
  10. Really that was their contact estimate? Feels very heavy
  11. Good for Seattle. He seemed like a perfect fit there
  12. Jim you can’t talk about emotional attachment and want to sign Bo to an 8/240 deal. Thats insane Let it be known I am against giving Bo 30M/year for 8 years. Just sign Tucker
  13. I bet Atlanta has already told him he would be the shortstop. They have Albies and Riley so he’s not playing either of those positions. It will be interesting to see how important it is to him to stay at the six. Close to home for him too The Tigers would probably promise him shortstop too but there’s zero chance he’s going there
  14. Can just make a trade if they don’t sign a hitter Donovan Marte Abrams Buxton
  15. They absolutely should but they won’t They haven’t signed a FA to a multi year deal since Ivan Nova in 2016. If you’re not going to even pretend to compete you might as well sell at the peak which is now
  16. It’s not it’s 14M/year for the next 3 years Thats like Walker Buehler money. It’s 5% of a 280M payroll The Dodgers paid Mike Conforto 17M last year and he wasn’t even on the post season roster
  17. Maybe a 1 year deal for Erin Sanchez?
  18. Tatis doesn’t seem like the type of person Ross is targeting anyway
  19. Ya the fit is fine next year but I was referring to this season
  20. Agreed. His fit isn’t great positionally but you can’t have everyone playing multiple positions. He’s a switch hitter with 40 HR pop and he’s making like 14M/year AAV Can’t judge him on an injury filled season. Complete mulligan for 2025 from me.
  21. Much more palatable than the high end guys who are gonna get 15M+
  22. Atta boy Gibby
  23. I think it makes the argument for an international draft stronger when that happens I don’t like the idea of the union pressuring guys to do anything, if the market is free and fair then let guys do whatever they want. At some point the dodgers just won’t have room, frankly I don’t think they have room right now to sign Imai
