  1. wow looks like you could use a Jose Reyes in your life
  2. I no longer have to have an opinion about Trea Turner and I kind of like the freedom. In other SS news, Jose Reyes has a .414 wOBA. I could trade him or Villar.
  3. Perdomo looks like a reliever. A lot of limbs and effort behind that 92mph
  4. Higher as in, bigger/higher number? If so, true.
  5. It would be tough to target a bat-only Rockies player as a deadline target. The Coors hangover seems to be pretty real, and long-lasting. Tulo might have just started to get over his move these past few weeks..
  6. I'll do the 2-->3 waiver thing for him. Could use a reliever with upside.
  7. Beltran would DH before Bautista did I don't get why the other two would be available
  8. Grilli equivalent as in what? Someone who would be almost free but we could reasonably expect to be good going forward? There probably isn't one in terms of outfielders. Have to pay for a real human asset.
  9. trade Bautista for a setup man?
  10. Tweener profiles work both ways! From a LF perspective it's as much a compliment about their athleticism/defense as it is a negative about their offense. The only position where a tweener profile is a problem really is C, since it's on an island of its own and not on the spectrum like you and Cyborg.
  11. The All Star game should be based on a bit more than the first half of the current season anyway. Sanchez and Kluber are basically tied in the ratio trio right now. ERA=Sanch; FIP=Klube; xFIP=tie. Kluber has way more star power. He's just as if not more deserving. Sanchez probably benefits more from the extra time off.
  12. Oh no, not a tweener profile! I hate tweens.
  13. literally all overrated by significant margins
  14. you're looking at the wrong stats, son
  15. Austin Hedges has a .434 ISO in AAA lol
  16. fuuuuuuck i don't even want Herrera to close.
  17. Well he got off the island so he's about 100x the man that you are, mango picker.
  18. I don't know if I've ever seen a better player-prospect comp than Juan Uribe - Richard Urena. Important to note that Uribe came up as 6'0", 180 lbs.
  19. Urena actually has a better wRC+ this year than last year when he hit all them dingers. Slight improvements to his K and BB rates. He's either treading water as a prospect, or slowly swimming in the right direction.
  20. I see one big fish, kind of obvious - Freddie Freeman Don't see very many other position player options right now. Toronto has most positions covered with league average or better players so efficient upgrades are not easy to find. Would probably have to be a 1B/DH type to replace Smoak. Danny Valencia? Does Teixeria even project better than Smoak at this point? He'd be free I guess. Yankees would probably pay his whole contract for a C prospect. Steve Pearce is a good one. Get Steve Pearce. Carlos Beltran is a good one. Toronto could look for a rotation upgrade, especially if Sanchez has to transition to the pen later on. Rich Hill is obvious and has been mentioned. Hill might be the only rental SP who would be an obvious talent upgrade on someone in the playoff rotation. Relievers - I actually don't see very many rental veterans. David Hernandez? Brad Ziegler. There's Chapman, but f*** paying the Yankees for him. Tyler Clippard - owed 4M in 2017. I see a lot of guys with a few years of control though. Trevor May, Hector Neris, Cam Bedrosian, Michael Tonkin, Alex Colome, Tyler Thornburg, Jeremy Jeffress, Ian Krol, numerous others.... Need more teams to tumble out of the wild card pictures.
  21. Tellez is the youngest qualified hitter in the Eastern League and he has a .400 wOBA. His peripherals are fantastic. It's time to get really silly about his upside. He's got the body of David Ortiz, so there's that..
