  1. AA was really good before he went off the rails. It is what it was.
  2. Apology accepted. You're having a bad season of posts but I'm confident you'll be better down the stretch.
  3. Spanky traded a 2nd rounder for Duffy in the middle of 2014. That's a long hold on a guy that was probably a cut candidate both springs.
  4. I didn't ignore anything. It was simply vapid and boring, and warranted no response.
  5. ??? How little do you think Liriano would get if he was a free agent right now? The guy has like 9 WAR in the last three years and he's lost none of his stuff.
  6. have to keep people guessing at least
  7. Stroman has been insanely unlucky this year. Unlucky on all fronts (LOB%, BABIP, HR/FB). His xFIP is really good at this point.
  8. 100% serious your insecurity is showing
  9. This post by Cyborg would be the most well-informed opinion on the board: http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/5548-Official-MiLB-Prospects-Thread-Short-season-ball-is-underway!/page50?p=992229#post992229 Contributions by most other people would just introduce noise.
  10. I strongly disagree that Grant should be allowed to have opinions
  11. Do they update team lists during the season? I've never noticed. Thought only mlb.com did. Doesn't really refute the point though. You said it was absurd compared to "expert opinions" and then Jim Callis, expert of experts, has him a **** hair way.
  12. Jim Callis has him 10th. Two spots.
  13. Yes probably. The system has probably moved up a couple of spots. + there seem to have been more positive developments than negative seasons so far this year.
  14. Okay, but you said "Greene at 12 is miles away from what the stats and scouting reports suggest" which is just not correct. If you want to change that to "I watched him play on the radio the other day and I like his long limbs and handsome California face" then that's fine.
  15. Well last year the book on him was +command and potential + changeup. I'm assuming he's lost the feel for the changeup this year because guys who nibble with an out pitch should at least get K's.
  16. If so, let me know and I'll f***ing kill myself
  17. When's the last time you checked Greene's stats? They bad.
  18. Thole had a significant skill change / decline. When he came into the league he actually hit for AVG and had real OBP skills - he was basically a viable starting catcher and league average talent. Not sure what happened to him. Maybe once he started catching the knuckleball it f***ed him up completely.
  19. 1 v 2 l 3 a 4 d 5 i 6 m 7 i 8 r 9 j 10 r HM to Earl Burl III and David Jacob
  20. Ben Rowen doesn't even know how to throw http://assets1.sportsnet.ca/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Rowen-Lead-1040x572.jpg
  21. Harold Ramirez and the Yankees new OF prospect Billy McKinney are cut from the same cloth, so it will be interesting to see how they develop in the same division. Two guys without CF chops and without big power or speed - but strong hit tools.
  22. Reese McGuire could probably slide into the backup role right now and be worth more than Thole. People think he is a zero with the bat but his contact skills look good on paper (29 walks and only 26 K's this year in 77 games!) and he's only 21.
