Orelvis has to be a top 5 power prospect in baseball now, right? Just look at these balls jump off his bat. The 60 raw power grades must be underrating the pop. Or he's more swole now than he was previously.

nonononono he was a defensive prospect / possible backup catcher type who got new googles in the upper minors and became a bat first prospect with poorly rated defense by random minor league measurements who debuted in the majors and was surprisingly good defensively but forgot how to hit and became a defense first player and now finally he is putting at all together, just in time for his physical decline to begin

He was like 92 wRC+ in May last year and then amazing since. Problem with recognition is some of those months last year he barely played, because of the injuries. And then another one this year.

uhhhhhh this is gospel and the projection systems agree now pull up his Fangraphs page and look at the projections like, this sounds crazy but there might be a decent chance that he's PROBABLY better at hitting than Gurriel and Chapman, and POSSIBLY even better than Teoscar, Kirk, and maybe even Bo.............. I would say something like: 99% chance he's a better hitter than Chapman 90% chance he's better than Gurriel 50% chance he's better than Kirk 30% chance he's better than Teoscar 5% chance he's better than Bo

Nah, the Twins are using him as a limited SP. He's only allowed to go through the lineup twice. He's like halfway between an opener and a starter.

You should just be streaming good matchups and parks with both spots. If you want to hold Manning in one spot for upside and stream spot #2 that's justifiable too. -
Damn yeah, Orelvis is really turning the corner. His numbers looked alarming at the end of April but now they look okay. Soon the K rate will be below 30%. Patience should show up too.... Dude had no idea in April and was just hackkkking. One walk the entire month. Three so far in May. And 10 Ks in 11 games is alright.

Sad to see Noah Syndergaard and Aaron Sanchez like this. Aaron Sanchez has nothing left and no hope - Washington is throwing him out there out of desperation. Syndergaard has horrible stuff now, it's crazy how much his injuries took from him. He might be able to build back up but I dunno... the grades that models are giving his pitches are not good. Velo down but also stuff like the movement, shape, etc. not helping him.
