  1. Maybe some dynasty leagues just run into this issue over time There are owners in our league who are sort of active but they just seem married to mediocre players or scared to trade with a lot of other people I dunno
  2. The have the wrong projected WAR for Pearson Note that if they used Pearson's best projection The Jays jump like, 6 or 7 spots. Meh, projected WAR for RPs is kind of dumb. For this type of stuff I would just be looking at two things: elite relievers, and total depth. Yeah WAR kind of captures it but it's probably better to just use your own brain. Like with the Dodgers, they have some high end SP prospects who will probably contribute as good RPs and guys like Jimmy Nelson, Shelby Miller, Alex Reyes, Victor Gonzalez, J.P. Feyereisen who are almost inexplicably all projecting for zero WAR on this but should on balance be positive contributors.
  3. did you ever eat ice cream straight from the machine
  4. I don't hate Brett Baty You just keep trying to trade him for bona fide fantasy studs and it's hilarious
  5. Pop has given up 5 home runs in 93.2 big league innings
  6. Dogshit offer
  7. Toronto used what, 26 different relievers last year? Breaking camp doesn't matter a whole lot for a reliever who will be first in line anyway. He might not even be in Buffalo for two weeks.
  8. Pop would give up more hits but mostly singles Pearson is the type to go K, K, walk, home run... when he sucks
  9. Is this that old shark tank league?
  10. He was probably only here as injury insurance
  11. East Coast and southern Ontario have a decent chunk of Yankee, Red Sox, Tigers fans There are probably places in Canada that have a higher % of Jays loyalty than Toronto. I don't know where exactly but I wouldn't be shocked.
  12. Jays and Raptors would flip flop depending on recent success The Raps are looking mediocre at best so if the Jays can do something... there is fan headspace to steal
  13. good question maybe not since Montreal has been courting the Rays?
  14. Gausman okay with this? lol
  15. Problem is they don't really have other decent options for 3B (Bohm) or OF (Castellanos). Their top MLB ready prospect is a CF, Johan Rojas. He is a light hitting player with elite speed/defense. If he slides into the OF it's probably the left fielder who gets bumped (I guess that's Jake Cave or a platoon?). Schwarber can probably play 1B but he has surprisingly few MLB games there. Darick Hall probably sucks but showed some power and will get a shot. If Hall doesn't work out I wonder if we see Realmuto go to first more frequently and Rafael Marchan on the roster. They could cycle through like 5 different 1B options this year, lol.
  16. Stats OBP leagues
  17. he was pretty good in May, yeah
  18. 74% zone rate on the slider plus 100% on the curve very nice
  19. Spring training is fine. At most, the SPs seem to get one more turn than they really need. Veteran position players can just... ask to play less. Like Brandon Belt.
  20. Is Kikuchi an Ace now? Gausman Manoah Kikuchi Bassitt Berrios Tiedemann White
  21. how could the WBC allow this to happen!!!!
  22. Top 5 hitters are interesting to watch. Worth watching for Kikuchi scouting reports alone!
