    I mean... people groan about that trade all the time. Just because of how bad Hand was though. But Adams has -0.6 career WAR though so, no loss.

    Yeah the Rangers rotation is very exploitable. Eovaldi is really good still but Gray, Perez, Heaney, and Dunning are all mediocre and getting super lucky. The Texas rotation has been the luckiest in baseball by FIP/ERA differential. Every non-Eovaldi SP looks like a ticking timebomb.

    Yeah an athletic shooter was much needed last year. They were far too reliant on FVV and Trent Jr. for this type of scoring last year, and Gary Trent Jr. f***ing sucks. OG can kind of do it but he is more of a stationary 3PT shooter from the corners. Hopefully this Dickhead can step in and be about as useful as Trent Jr. as a rookie, with a developmental chance for more. It looks like he has some hops and a propensity to dunk and get to the rim from time to time. Scouting report say his defense isn't great and his lateral movement is weak. But apparently his shot is perfect.

    Here is every arm in the org with 20+ IP, sorted by K-BB% Lots of risers here. The bulk of this list is either a prospect or a fringe prospect.

    I think the people who say that Toronto is having a horrendous year on the farm are just paying too much attention to the pre-season top prospects and not enough to the 2023 risers. It feels like lots of players are breaking out. Yeah, Toronto hasn't found any new top 100 prospects this year but the depth might be filling in nicely. There is a cohort of interest relief pitching prospects in the upper minors now, for one thing.

    why are you being obtuse just zoom out and look at the big picture. there is no reason to cherry pick any sample he was not great but not hopeless as a 20 year old in AA (almost average, with some tools and defense) he has been good as a 21 year old in AA this year (121 wRC+ infielder with good age vs. level) and then when you look at the trends on his K and BB and ISO numbers year to year, it looks like he has developed significantly
