  1. Well Cole is unhittable with a wide zone like this lmao
  2. I actually don't know who you are talking about. I don't remember your 2B fetish. Marte?
  3. There is this idea that Whit Merrifield can make contact so he is more competitive against good pitching. I think it's ********. He has a lot of really feeble plate appearances. He kind of reminds of Kevin Pillar at this point.
  4. Like, do you really think Cavan Biggio and Whit Merrifield are going to take you to the promise land? You probably need someone to get hot and hit 10 homers in 20 games to win the world series. Babe is the perfect candidate to do that. LET HIM EAT.
  5. I'll probably be trying to deal Machado for a 2B this offseason.
  6. 1.9 WAR in 135 PA vs. 0.8 WAR in 316 PA (Biggio) vs. 1.9 WAR in 581 PA (Whit) SOME REAL GALAXY BRAINS IN THE JAYS FRONT OFFICE
  7. Michael King isn't in the playoffs It's hard to score on Michael King when the ump is giving him calls 4-6 inches off the plate in full counts and bases loaded situations against your #3 hitter. lmaooooooooooo that scorecard +1.43 runs for NYY in a 2-0 game!
  8. Gunnar Henderson was huge for me in the playoffs But I watched a couple Aaron Nola starts and wooooof he kinda looks cooked hahaha
  9. Their entire team next year will be guys named some variation of Oswald and Estevan Oswald Peraza Oswaldo Cabrera Oswaldabus Pabrera Estevan Florial Everson Pereira Estervson Peraza Ostevan Cabraza Oeverston Floriaza Ostan Wells
  10. Florida is close. Airplanes exist. Who knows if they actually have to report though. It might just be a paper assignment.
  11. Pearson is horrendous. I dunno what happened; it looked like he really found it, for a window of time. I guess it's just that the piss poor command leads to meltdown outings too often. He has several blowups of 3+ or 4+ earned runs. If he had enough to keep those to 1 or 2 ER outings his ERA would be significantly lower. His K/BB rates aren't bad. Definitely this is the next Merryweather. He will give Toronto nothing then end up in Atlanta as a closer, clinching AA's third Word Series in a few years.
  12. I like Rowdy Tellez. It's sad that this will be his last year in MLB. He'll be a monster in Japan though.
  13. Kendall Williams was the one who got the callup to AAA to take Nicky Frasso's turn in the rotation.
  14. Pretty sure Grant is just an adopted Sault Ste Marie Italian and dislikes Boston for cultural reasons. Dirty f***ing Irish.
  15. The boys are just saving all their homers for the playoffs. Smart when you think about it.
  16. Freddie Freeman having 22 steals and +5 BsR at 33 years old is wild What an insane free agent signing. Back to back 7 WAR seasons to start his contract. For 6 yr, $162M
  17. And not even a slam dunk MVP. I would vote for Mookie. But I think the writers will give it to Acuna.
  18. Kremer's 167 innings is his career high by 33 Grayson's 157 innings is his career high by like 54? Bradish's 163 innings is his career high by 20 or so. These guys are liable to pop at some point. Sadly. That's ball.
  19. Track record, injury history All four of the Toronto pitchers are veterans with flawless bills of health, long term It's not even close to the same. You've got Means coming back from a major injury and then some kids who don't even have bulk track records of holding up for tons of innings year over year. Also performance/talent uncertainties that don't exist to the same extent with Toronto.
  20. So HOU is: 3xSEA 3xARI TEX is: 3xLAA 4xSEA SEA is: 3xHOU 4xTEX Seattle is on the f***ing ropes. Houston also has a tough outside series with Arizona, a good team that will be fighting to the end of the year. Toronto might need to go 0-6 to miss the playoffs. I do believe in their ability to lose 6 straight games to a lifeless NYY and a TBR with nothing to play for.
  21. Bradish you could call an SP1/2 at this point even though he's not a capital a "Ace." Grayson is a stud. His xFIP is/was a bit under 4.00 both before and after his demotion. There was a lot of ERA noise in his first half but he's getting lucky in the second half so it evens out. Kremer is just a nice SP5 eating innings. Means is a wild card but it's not like he was amazing pre-injury, just sneaky good. On talent alone Bradish-Grayson-Means-Kremer is similar to Gausman-Berrios-Bassitt-Kikuchi but the error bars / variance on the O's four is WAY WAY WAY higher. Toronto's core is much more likely to just do their thing in 2024 and produce as expected.
  22. Thank you for nursing Trevor Bauer all finals and playing a man short
  23. Can't put into words what this means to me I've finally won my own league
