    I don't even know why I am surprised at this point but DANE DUNNING got VLADIMIR GUERRERO JR. to whiff like, nine f***ing times last night. It was probably the worst I have ever seen Vlad look.

    f***ing ROUGH. The could have just IL'd him back on Sept 3rd and taken their time. Maybe with more patience he would have been fine a few days from now. The lineup without him is pretty short. All the other lefties are assumed non-factors most nights.

    Looking at the Red Sox lineup today and it might be quite potent next year. Casas really turned a corner and they have some young guys breaking in that can probably really hit. Rafaela and Valdez in there today. Story, Yoshida, Devers, Duran, Casas, Verdugo, Rafaela, Valdez, with Mayer a possible 2024 debut.

    Yeah you either trade him for something close to his actual value, or just make him the SP7 until he runs out of options.

    It's not rocket science. Bassitt has a track record of pitching deep into games. He also does not suffer from a big TTO penalty at all, probably due to all of his pitches. OPS of opponents 1st PA: .665 2nd PA: .704 3rd PA: .700 Kikuchi has a very different track record. *note that I am just speaking generally. I do agree that Bassitt did not have it last night and was probably left in too long*

    I dunno. Monday night game. Tons of families have A LOT going on this week with back to school. Nobody wants to see Chris Bassitt pitch, let's be f***ing honest. He's like one notch more entertaining than RA Dickey, most nights.

    Journalistic integrity + the importance of maintaining relationships in sports media 1. Just because something seems to be true does not mean you can just print the story. They would need multiple independent sources confirming Manoah's motives to really publish anything. 2. Getting to aggressive with negative stories about players is a dangerous line. It can kind of be career ruining. Also, there is that always present conflict of interest with the team being owned by the media company.

    Noooo I think torontofan left after the 2020 season and that is when Greenwood slid in boxy left around the same time but he had already added linc as co-manager so we didn't need to find a replacement TRM left us in like 2018 North after 2018 GP after 2017 jays_fever after 2018? KK after 2018? sammy after 2018? silvergun in like 2019 we like, did not lose an owner for over 5 years then within 2-3 years lost 7 or 8. But none in a while.
