  1. I'll go with The Sanchize again.
  2. I can't believe they didn't send Sanchez home on that !!!!! Wtf
  3. Yordan is a monster but I would guess that Yesavage has more projected surplus/trade value. YA is under control for 2027 and 2028 at $26M a year. He is an injury risk, typically.
  4. Really interesting. Couple of ideas: 1. Defensive limitations push every lefty thrower (almost all lefty hitters) into OF/DH/1B (but this is not new) 2. The perpetual grind for that extra 2% (RIP Jonah Keri) leads more and more teams to platoon. Corner outfield spots are prime platoon spots because of defensive reasons and the availability of human capital. And because lefty hitters are the "strong side" of the platoon teams prioritize their development and try to keep them around because in theory the team can and will get more use/value out of them. BUT IF EVERY TEAM DOES #2 THEN AT THE LEAGUE LEVEL THERE WILL BE A SHORTAGE OF WELL-DEVELOPED RIGHT HANDED HITTING OUTFIELDERS!!!!!!!!!!!! Kind of hilarious Every team in baseball decided to ignore the fungible roster spot, that weak side platoon corner outfielder, and now none of them exist. Randal Grichuk will have work until he's 45.
  5. Ah it was before. I had Varsho then saw he wasn't in the lineup. I wonder if mods can see an edit timestamp.
  6. Pinango is 24 and has 727 pro games. He's not going to get appreciably better out there. Average left fielders do not miss two 95% catch probability chances in one game. No cap almost every able bodied member of this message board (all three of us) would make those catches. Dude is a legit liability. Can't be in the outfield.
  7. Bro it should def be changed to an error He literally booted it
  8. Jays nineteen singles one run Marlins a couple of timely doubles and sac flies and six runs
  9. Keegan says Cease is going on the 15 day IL Death. 🤒
  10. Pinango would not be the first or second piece in such a trade. But many teams would want a Pinango at the right price.
  11. He was locked in before he got hurt
  12. It's not alarmist. He's a third round pick in the Rule 4 draft. There is a high probability that he's a bust, statistically, and that's before even considering his profile which is probably more boom or bust than a normal 3rd rounder. I think the expected WAR of a pick in the 80-100 range is like, 1.2 career WAR.
  13. Then sell high in Pinango for a real asset. Like selling Alan Roden. Yeah he looks good but he's a flawed corner outfield dude.
  14. The upcoming lefty OF logjam is ruining my weekend Pinango has been so good, Sanchez has been good for two weeks now, Barger is a monster, and Lukes is a hero There is no solution that will be comfortable Trading Sanchez is ideal to me
  15. Because it's just a bad and cringe tattoo lol
  16. The Rays are wayyyy over their skis. They have five more wins than their expected W-L. The Yankees are also a fraudulent team. They have only played 10 games against teams over .500 and they are 1-9 in those lmao Regression is going to skyrocket the Jays to the top of the division by the end of August
  17. This was some Elite World Series Blue Jays Offense kind of stuff
