  1. Sanchez projecting better than Santander is wild IMO, too much weight on Taters’ poor injured season last year.
  2. Hopefully you shut up
  3. Superteam LA Dodgers are reportedly planning to bat Mookie Betts and his 104 wRC+ in the 3 spot. I guess they also have a massive hole
  4. Its to get extra at bats… damn its like none of yall have witnessed spring training before
  5. What is this Spanky
  6. Juan Soto level play there
  7. Frustrating player. Reminds me a bit of Merryweather? Has great stuff and theoretically SHOULD be good, but just throws straight BP at times
  8. Jesus christ that is some terrible fielding by Jesus Sanchez loll
  9. I predict he will be moved off 3B by May
  10. Its not as big of a problem when half those guys are elite defenders. Varsho, Gimenez, Ernie you don’t feel bad about playing nearly every day because they can impact the game substantially on the defensive side.
  11. Oh im not even expecting to see him at all this year
  12. All im saying is im not so optimistic that a guy coming off 2 full seasons of injury is going to be a solid contributor. Obviously it could happen, he could come back and be good. But common sense tells me he’s probably done being the same player he was from 2022-2024
  13. Yes I agree, its s*** luck. He had played 150+ games for 3 straight seasons. Dont think he’s ever been this injured in his career. Its annoying to have people shouting “told you so haha” when its just a complete fluke… like how was anyone to know?
  14. I still like the guy, but its definitely alarming he will have only played 50ish games in the first 2 years of a 5 year deal. And those 50 games were pretty abysmal. Hard not to see the entire deal as potentially sunk cost. He is probably primarily a DH going forward, not ideal.
  15. We really needed Bo back with this news coming up now. Not feeling so hot about the lineup. We’re asking - Springer to be good again - Barger/Lukes/Ernie to continue their success - Okamoto to hit well enough to be an everyday player - NO MAJOR INJURIES or we’re f***ed
  16. Lol he’s right for the wrong reasons. Broken clock
  17. 2 lost seasons at the front end/prime years of the deal is awful. This definitely makes the deal look really bad, he’s probably a fulltime DH going forward… but will he even hit well enough for that? Gross
  18. I definitely think it matters.
  19. What the fk? Man…. hard to believe this is a NEW injury. What tf was the front office doing not prioritizing a bat if they had an idea this might happen??
  20. Bassitt is a better fit, you know he could at least give you semi-competitive innings when needed. Either from the rotation or the pen. I’d much rather have Bassit as depth over Scherzer
  21. I’d be fine with Scherzer back for like… 8mil or less? But only as long as he isn’t taking a spot away from any of the current 6 starters. Dude is washed, could be decent depth and a mentor to have around but he shouldn’t be guaranteed a spot anywhere.
