  1. Horwitz and Goins up the middle playing SS/2B would have been a formidable force.
  2. Yeah sorry man been out of it the last couple weeks. I’ll check in
  3. And i remember how excited we all were talking about how the rotation was super deep and we could easily weather an injury or 2 and still have a great starting 5. Baseball stinks sometimes
  4. Sad reality but the truth. I dont think anyone should be getting excited about a potential run or making the playoffs… this team just doesn’t have the players right now to do that. Too many injuries and underperformers
  5. Didn’t see it in this thread but Yesavage now too?? Bejesus https://www.sportsnet.ca/mlb/article/blue-jays-trey-yesavage-has-knee-surgery-could-return-this-season/
  6. Oh you mean like the BS Varsho strike call where Bo was caught off the bag on 1st? Yeah that would be terrible for something crazy like that to happen in a WS game. Also don’t forget it happened AGAIN with Springer in game 6 or 7 (can’t remember)
  7. Not what happened
  8. Exactly, we keep saying “oh if they just win 3 of 5 here, or these 2 series, they will be in a decent position” But the truth is, all year long this team has had many opportunities to make up some ground and they choke every easy/important series away. The team just has 0 consistency this year with both the pitching and the offense. And even the defense fails in important moments.
  9. I truly cannot believe all the whiners complaining we traded Hoffman, after months of whining that he sucks and can’t be trusted. Dude is a mid-30s reliever making 10+ mil for this/next year, hasn’t exactly been reliable in the 1.5 seasons as a blue jay, and been getting boos from the home crowd for the last few weeks. As someone pointed out, there are tons of FA relievers available this offseason that will likely put up better numbers.
  10. When Vladdy is hitting, the whole lineup looks different
  11. Yeah that wasn’t even a bad throw to 3rd, the play needs to be made. Cant miss that catch altogether
  12. If you don’t like it, then you don’t like the Jays. Always either a great offense or great pitching, but never both. Last year was the 1 year where both clicked at the same time.
  13. That’s blue jays baseball. Same s*** from 2023-2026, just somehow it flipped for 4-5 months last year
  14. So everyone is ready to start hating on Varland now right? Disgraceful performance by him today after such a well-played game. Thanks for nothing! Imagine giving up a game-tying homer in the 9th to a washed over-the-hill bum.
  15. Sounds eerily similar to the way last year ended…
  16. I understand what you’re saying, but I just don’t see how its true. You can’t tell me consistent elite LD hitters don’t exist in the majors or that its all just luck
  17. Savage comments for his first interview as a Cub loll
  18. Guess i was wrong…
  19. Honestly the best part of this move. Finally no more whining about Hoff
  20. Who cares though?? Its not like we are worried about competing this season. Getting some kind of prospect back and freeing up a lineup spot would have been preferable. Maybe the Redsox decided they traded too many prospects today
  21. Holding Springer makes no sense…
  22. I’ve been a big Hoffman supporter, but I think its for the best. The fanbase was never gonna accept him after blowing game 7 and he needs a change of scenery
