  1. Honestly, this one shocked me most.
  2. I still think the goal should be to sign 1 of Bo/Bellinger/Tucker. Tucker probably the most expensive Bellinger is risky Bo is the best fit if he’s willing to play 2B
  3. He’s an extremely solid player, but he’s wildly overrated. Not in the same league as guys like Harper, Turner, Tatis, etc.
  4. Yes, its probably like “hey Bo go test the market, see what offers you get and we will try to match” I feel like they should’ve done that with Vlad tbh, but his price probably would’ve gone up after that playoff performance. Could also be a scenario where Jays said they only want Bo back as a 2B and ge wants to ask around if any team will sign him as a SS
  5. Womp womp
  6. I also feel he was not sure about sprinting through since WILL SMITH WAS IN FRONT OF THE PLATE WHILE WAITING TO FIELD THE THROW.
  7. Yes but they literally discussed doing it so the possibility is there, and it wasn’t a small chance. As Muncy said, its a play they’ve done fairly often.
  8. Yer dum. 1 injury-ridden season of poor performance isn’t changing the front office’s opinion on him, the same one that just signed him to a long-term deal. You sound like all the “Brendan Little is useless” dumbos that came out of the woodwork after a couple bad playoff appearances. Santander will be the 3rd best hitter on the team after Vlad/Bo next season, watch.
  9. Yankees fans have one of the largest fanbases in the sport and we trolled the s*** out of them when we beat them. Dodgers fans are also lame. Easy to understand.
  10. Just saw a podcast vid with Pierzynski and Max Muncy, Max says IKF’s lead was fine. He also talked about how him and Will Smith discussed (during the pitching change) a possible back pick on IKF there if he got too far off the bag. So boom I was right about the possibility of a back pick. It was probably in the scouting report and factored in to IKF’s leadoff
  11. The Yankees were also hot as hell, Jays were cool down the stretch but not afwul. They found a new gear in the playoffs, a big part of that was Vlad putting the team on his back.
  12. I have 0 interest in Grisham, he’s basically Varsho with a worse glove. Main targets should be Bo/Tucker/Bellinger IMO. You gotta try hard to sign one of those guys.
  13. Tbh I feel like a lefty might be necessary. Need to be able to show opponents a different look in a short series. Our rotation had way too many crafty/stuff righties, all so similar.
  14. Hey you never know, maybe one of Bieber/Gausman has a bad year, maybe Yesavage takes a step back, maybe FA signing craps the bed. Keeping my expectations low after learning my lesson last weekend.
  15. I was saying the same lol
  16. I think with Bieber back now you don’t bother with Bassitt unless you can punt Berrios somewhere. 1. Gauman 2. FA like Cease 3. Yesavage 4. Bieber 5. Berrios/Bassitt Honestly very solid
  17. Wow that’s shocking!! And welcome. That really helps solidify the rotation for next year. Seems players might be worried about the looming lockout affecting long-term deals this offseason??
  18. Yes, he needs to stay. He can be platooned and provides backup for all 3 INF spots. Useful player even if the bat regresses
  19. If that pitch is like 1 or 2 inches further in, we’re probably celebrating a game 7 walkoff homerun. Tough
  20. Nah I love that Yankees bit and would’ve been content if the season ended in the ALCS. I just hate the way we got SO close and lost
  21. Seriously some of these guys are reaallly showing their lack of ball knowledge. Just because Vlad takes a walk there does not mean all subsequent events happen the same. I want my best hitter crushing a 3-0 pitch if he likes it
  22. Ah yes, we’d rather have our best hitter take a walk so IKF can get a chance to hit, rather than smash a 3-0 pitch (which he almost hit out to win the game) Are some of yall really this stupid? EDIT: Bo was still in the game at that point, not IKF. But it still stands, i’d want Vlad to swing if he likes the pitch. He was extremely close to ending the game. Bo is liable to be doubled up
