  1. I think Wong is going to get traded soon. It's hard to imagine him unseating Mad Matt Carpenter anytime soon.
  2. Heh! I love a surprise 3-way. To Oppo Taco: Jake Marisnick, Kolten Wong To BALCO: Chris Carter, 4th (Wrench) To A Wrench In The Plan: Asdrubal Cabrera, Save Collector Cishek
  3. So Aaron Sanchez + is a foregone conclusion, right?
  4. We are going to trade several top prospects for a player that we won't re-sign or get a comp pick for.
  5. ZiPS and Streamer have him finishing around .250/.345/.400 with 15 bombs. Kinda seems like he's still a 2nd division 1B. I think Eric Hosmer is herer.
  6. And his career OBP is .297. Since you're not familiar with small sample sizes or RTTM, I'm just going to dismiss your misguided opinion altogether at this point. He is a below replacement level player and a quasi-racist gimmick. The right player was optioned.
  7. .319 OBP does not qualify as ALOT, which is two words by the way.
  8. What does it matter? Kawasaki is f***ing terrible at baseball.
  9. Thinking about changing my team name to "The Truest Cardinals." Allen Craig and Matt Carpenter are gods.

He hasn't said anything about playing in the KHL, has he? It's not like he needs the money.

Like Russia cares. What has the NHL ever done for the KHL? Besides poaching it's best players for two decades now.

    LOL @ NJH's keeper team
  13. I owned Karsten Whitson in a similar scenario in FC. It sucked.
  14. He's a basketball guy. I'm not even sure why he hung around Toronto in the off-season or how he landed this gig. Still, I'd take him over Black and Cambell on voice alone. Devlin had a wonderful timbre.
  15. How the f*** do you know he was BPA? Braden Shipley is a damn fine arm and much closer to a finished product. You may buy into AA's evaluation process, but that doesn't make it accurate.
  16. AA has had more poor drafts than good ones. I'm sick of this s***.
  17. What a piece of s*** draft strategy. Should have just taken Shipley.
  18. Sonny Gray making a nice MLB debut tonight, 3 K thru 2 IP so far in relief.
  19. Your 25 year old arm still has a 4 BB/9 and is due for some home run rate regression. He is what I thought he was, a back end guy who gets you strikeouts. He wouldn't be a keeper on my team, I can't speak for you.
  20. All he's proven is that they're both expendable.
  21. Confidence is everything, and for whatever reason, it's shattered at the moment. Being a hyper-competitive player like Gose -- and a star prospect all the way up the ladder -- it's a very scary thing when the thought finally dawns on you that you might stall out at AAA and never really make it. He's putting a lot of pressure on himself right now, and that's a pretty hard way to excel. If you want to look at the bright side, his K/BB in his brief MLB stint this year was quite encouraging. He still has a future as a nice 4th OF at the very least, with a pretty decent shot at having some 3-4 WAR seasons IMO. There's no reason to think that he won't make an appearance in the bigs again this year, in September at least. All it really takes is a few multi-hit games to get his confidence going. The swing and miss will always be there, but the plus speed and CF defence are in no danger of declining any time soon; there are still a lot of useful things this guy can do between the lines when his head is screwed on right.
  22. He was moved because the Tigers committed to Miggy at 3B. I would definitely plan on moving him back.
