I'd just drop Melky down in the order when Reyes is back. Reyes Bautista Edwin Lind Melky Rasmus J.P. Lawrie 2B And I'd drop Melky down even more if he can't get hot. Seems to me he isn't using his legs or hips at all right now, hence very little power.

For example, last year Yahoo had Bubba Starling and Francisco Lindor in the database (they've had to retain them in the database now for dynasty reasons I assume). This year, they didn't add anybody that low in the minors to the database, they only added stud prospects who could plausibly be up this year.

It's a moot point, because Yahoo won't add them mid-season unless they get called up. The spirit of this rule is to have GMs avoid owning/drafting minor league players that Yahoo decided to put in the database despite being below AA. They don't really do that any more, so it's not really an issue. Obviously, you can't promote a player from your MiLB roster unless they are in the Yahoo database.

That's still a pretty good hitter. I don't really think you'd get much for him anyway, and his option is suddenly quite reasonable.

ZiPS and Streamer have Lind finishing around a 135 wRC+ FWIW.
