    I guess I should have included question 5 in poll: trade from 25 roster. Perhaps Lind for a 2nd basemen. I'm all in on that then using Francisco and calling up Gose giving outfielders a day off as DH. Even though I think Francisco sucks.

    It's a tough call for me, but I'm going with stand pat and cross my fingers.

    Alex has said we can afford a pitcher and teams have told him we have the prospects to get a trade done (obviously), but the question is, do you want him to empty the farm and go for it. i.e. if you were GM would you go for it? Or stand pat, hope we squeeze into the playoffs with the possibility of missing out yet again? Empty the farm can mean something like, Sanchez, Norris and Pompey for an ace like price with zobrist. (Strictly hypothetical.)

    Hard to rely on santos, but if he can pitch like that 20 or so inning stretch last year he would be a real nice addition to the pen.

    Reyes or melky get on in first today, Bautista or Edwin launch an absolute bomb, everyone relaxes in the line up again, we score 9 runs and the offensive slump is instantly over. I'm only concerned about the starting pitching and injuries. The offence will be fine. However, this last week is incredibly frustrating.

    Or about .500 and in a 3 team race of mediocracy with NY and Baltimore.

    I agree with this, it seems when they fall behind they go back to last years way and try to pull everything, including outside pitches, and try to hit grand slams with no one on base. Oh well, let's hope it's just a slump and we snap out before the weekend. Plus a win tomorrow and we take the series, I can live with that.

    I'll be very happy with a split. 4 games off the schedule with the O's under pressure to gain the ground. I think gausman will own us.

    I'd like to stay calm, but I am now a true believer. I'm all in. I'll tip my cap to the St. Louis starters the last two games, well done...but Minnesota is about to experience a s*** storm. The bats are about to go off, I fully expect a sweep in spectacular fashion to get back on track towards 91 wins. Minnesota is about to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    Yes, Bautista not whining like a bitch at umpires makes him so much more likeable. Watching the bombs by EE makes him my favorite so far, many of his HR's have made me giggle to myself with glee

    He will likely be the one that hurts the most to lose, was one of my favs to. 2.62era and 3 shutouts already. Still not striking out enough though, but 5.9 strike out rate isn't horrendous. ERA+ 144. I'm no stats guru, but that's nice.

    He hasn't got much credit for it this year, but he's built a pretty good bench to. Francisco, tolesson, Kratz, pillar/Gose... Not bad.

    How about favorite moment for game you attended? -World Series year game with 50,000 fans in dome, Darnell cole hits walk off home run in bottom of the 10th. I couldn't hear myself scream over the roar of the crowd.
