  1. "Yes but remember that Jimenez has been an awful signing so far and he's guaranteed three more years. He could easily regress further."
  2. Eight games out of a playoff spot with ten teams ahead of them, they're already out of it and I'm sure management knows it.
  3. He admitted to giving Jeter a hittable pitch, then awkwardly tried to backtrack when they started questioning him about it.
  4. Lol Wainwright dug himself into a hole. He sounds really uncomfortable.
  5. It seems like Kimbrel is throwing even harder than 97.
  6. "Robinson, we don't really care about you anymore since you're not a Yankee, so just talk about Derek Jeter."
  7. Thank you Joe Buck for telling us about W-L records from 9 years ago.
  8. The rest of the broadcast will be Jeter hugging each and every person in the stadium.
  9. It is good to see Chase Utley back at an All-Star Game and getting some recognition. One of the best players of his generation.
  10. Fox has the worst broadcasts. Between Joe Buck, Harold Reynolds, the cheesy presentation and the f***ing lame video packages they do, it's just awful.
  11. Okay so that national anthem was absolutely terrible.
  12. Leading off for the American League, Derek Jeter!!!!! ...oh and batting second is the best player in baseball or something
  13. Well, unless you took the poll in the middle of a GDT when the Jays are losing.
  14. I didn't know Todd Frazier was in this! Still probably not going to watch though.
  15. With Reyes' salary going up next year, the team can't afford to handcuff themselves by giving Melky a pay raise as well. Agree with the second part of your post, I'd be fine with basically a repeat of the 2/16 he originally got, given the weak market for outfielders this year.
  16. Not in addition to losing a draft pick though. Between his limited skillset, health problems in 2013, and suspension in 2012, he's exactly the type of player who could end up in Stephen Drew/Kendrys Morales limbo.
  17. Goldschmidt would bring back a massive haul but dealing him would crush their fanbase, Astros-style. Maybe they start considering it if they're still awful in a couple years.
