  1. I like how these posts came back to back. Really sums up the nature of GDTs.
  2. He was clearly within three feet, which is what the rule is.
  3. Yikes McGowan. Gibbons has seen enough and so have I.
  4. Well so much for Nolan Reimold. The guy is made of glass.
  5. I'm not sure Gillespie was ever on the "able list".
  6. Lol, did you just make another account to back yourself up?
  7. Let's give him a chance to edit that to "Orioles MVP thus far"
  8. IIRC he looks quite similar to Troy Tulowitzki at the plate.
  9. I liked this guy a few years ago but he's been incredibly injury prone. Still, far from the worst bench bat to have lying around.
  10. Who the hell wants Vidal Nuno? Come on KT.
  11. The latter. People are assuming that because the Rangers are out of contention this year, they must be willing to blow up their team, even though they'll likely have a good shot at contending next year once they get healthy again.
  12. I like the trade for both sides. It will be interesting to see where the A's decide to go after this season: holding on to Samardzija for another run, or dealing him to get some prospects back. They'll also have some questions in their middle infield, no longer having a replacement for Lowrie when he leaves for free agency.
  13. To think you could've been watching a great soccer game instead!
  14. Please never put "sex" and "Gibbons" in the same sentence again.
  15. They're something like 0-39 not including the 45 games they've won.
  16. Have to agree with theblujay here. The home run rate isn't sustainable, but those home runs still happened and it's not the same as Dickey giving up runs from five or six singles in a row. There's a reason xFIP is used as a predictive stat rather than a descriptive one.
  17. That only happened because of the distracting lights.
