The Mariners have apparently decided to put Brad Miller on the Dustin Ackley program. When you have an average+ defending middle infielder with a league average bat, the obvious play is to move them to a corner OF position. What a terrible org.

Annoyingly good re-tool of the pitching staff by Min. Cueto/Samardzija/Odorizzi/Paxton is a nice group before getting into the geriatrics. Kuroda and Dickey have expired and he hasn't really missed a beat.

I don't see this as a big win for gibbers. Odorizzi is good, and Bailey is broken.

That's what everyone said last year. 86 wins will not get you the division. Less than 90 wins will not get you the division.

It's unbelievable that this has been allowed to go as far as it has. You can't have a starter this bad in your rotation. He's walking 7/9, and projections think he's going to maintain a rate over 5. He has a below-average K-rate. His continued presence on this team is bordering on unprofessional.

Boyd. Francis. Hendriks. Any feasible option is better than the guy walking 7 per 9.
