I like it. It says he's ready to party.

I think there are enough signs of life to warrant gambling on him as a 7th starter. And everyone seems kind of excited about his new knee brace. My current in house options are/were Fister, Buehrle, and Locke. If he can pitch to Steamer's projection, he'll be a useful SP7.

He looked broken this year. Struggling to sit 85. The sinking fastball that hitters used to pound into the ground wasn't getting outs anymore. I think he's finished.

I don't doubt that he will, but I don't think he should be. Absorbing a sub-0.300 OBP and possible sub 0.300 SLG isn't worth the 55 steals.

Really? I loved the guy, but there's nothing there to make me think he was rosterable past the cut.

I had claims on Castillo, Karns, and Holland. Thought about Elias, but I don't actually want to roster him and would have spent all offseason annoying you guys trying to trade him.

I was surprised when I heard that last night. Guy mashes. On a related note, ESPN has really stepped up their game. It's pretty common that they provide insight and useful information now. If only sportsnet could follow.
