Now you're moving the goalposts. In the offseason, and two months ago, it was 'this guy is not rosterable'. Now it's 'I wouldn't want him on my first-place roster'. As things stand currently, you were wrong. Own it and we can move on.

I won't be shopping Trumbo this offseason. I'm not sure why you think he's finished considering he's hitting exactly to his career averages, but your refusal to recognize that he carries value in this league is not rational.

I wouldn't claim Andrus off the waiver wire.

Since these posts Trumbo has gone 298/349/505 in 215 PA and put up 11/27/29 in 1/3 of a season. He's now ranked 203rd in yahoo standard leagues.

Watching Garrett Richards nibble is so frustrating. You have some of the toughest stuff in baseball to square up, throw it in the zone.

Consistency should always be a priority. When rules are selectively enforced and people don't know what to expect, leagues start collapsing. If FTD gets Santana back, King has to get Elias back, and whoever makes the next mistake will rightly want to get that guy back.

We do need a firm ruling on how September callups will be handled for eliminated teams though. That's a potential clusterf*** in its current ambiguous state.

It's more just about consistency. Frag wasn't given a break. You weren't given a break. FTD probably shouldn't be given a break. THIS IS THE GET IT DONE LEAGUE etc...

Not sure what I think about this. I was all for North returning him when I thought he hit 14 days after the regular season ended, but seeing as that wasn't the case, and GD has been hit by this, and Frag got f***ed when he made a mistake earlier, it's hard to say an exception should be made. IIRC we've consistently held everyone accountable to the rules so far. On the other hand, this sucks for FTD.

I'm pretty happy with him right now TBH. You're both competent and in my division, so him evaporating what is probably a young everyday OF from your roster is pretty great.

He dinged GD for Matt Barnes on the same thing earlier, and King for Roenis Elias the same day he waived Santana. He's like a really on the ball and dedicated hall monitor. Ruthless fantasy opponent.

I think we've decided that eliminated teams can either choose to have their rosters frozen until the season is over or continue to play the waiver wire and take be responsible for promoting guys. JFaS didn't really say for sure.

He's been monstrous all year, in AAA and MLB. This is a pretty big mistake in a 30-team league. Also, to add to your anger: North is really the only guy who monitors this, and you would have got away with it if not for him.
