  1. My erection. It will not subside.
  2. This tells me Dickey won't be on the playoff roster. Or certainly won't be starting any playoff games.
  3. Do we know Atlanta's new park is a pitcher's park?
  4. I hate to say it, but McCann probably starts 110 games for Atlanta next year and finishes a top-15 catcher.
  5. Rupp has an ISO 20 points higher than Wieters' career high, and statcast loves him. I think he's a viable low-end starter while Wieters belongs in the free agent pool.
  6. Why are you still rostering him? Cameron Rupp is actually good.
  7. And Boxy was saying that whoever acquires McCann will have a void in their lineup, not that SG has a void in his lineup.
  8. I ended up dropping him after he blew up in his first 5-10 starts.
  9. Moved Cishek to you. Need to know who KK is dropping for Dayton.
  10. lol, I'd forgotten about that one
  11. My trade block keeps shrinking: Victor Martinez (SP or top prospect) Howie Kendrick (SP) Derek Dietrich (MiLB or waiver pick) Tommy Pham (MiLB or waiver pick)
  12. Siegrist to Dinger for his 3rd MiLB
  13. I read almost nothing they do these days. The site is still the best place to go for stats, but the vast majority of their articles are poorly-researched trash. Their full-time writers are asked to put out like 8-10 articles a week, so they end up sorting the leaderboards, looking for something surprising, and taking 3-4 hours to pump out 1000 words on the topic. It's disappointing, because some of their writers could be very good at what they do (Jeff Sullivan, Eno Sarris, maybe August Fagerstrom). If each writer was responsible for, say, 1 long article a week I think it would almost all be interesting.
  14. Every reason to believe he'll settle in as a reliable ~3.5 ERA guy, which is absolutely fine. As long as his back stays healthy.
  15. No. He's probably going to beat his FIP, but he's not going to beat it by two runs or whatever he was beating it by earlier. He's good, but not 3.0 ERA good.
  16. It kind of feels like Scherzer will be throwing 200 innings long after Syndergaard's arm explodes.
  17. Yeah. I've shifted my philosophy on pitchers towards targeting reliable guys with almost no regard for age, and then riding them until their arms explode. A Stroman or Sanchez isn't a more attractive asset than a Lester IMO.
  18. Correct. I first posted that I'd like to move him on August 11th. I got zero inquiries.
  19. People put too much stock in pitcher's age. Expecting even a young horse to still be productive in 4-5 years is a big stretch, and it's not like EE is going to call it quits soon.
  20. If someone offered me that in BORED I'd accept without thinking twice.
  21. Please don't. I wanted Syndergaard so bad with the pick I used on Cole.
  22. He's definitely a keeper. Playing time is the only real thing between him providing 30 homers and 75 RBI from the C position next year. That's huge in a league where legit contenders are starting guys like Nick Hundley and Yadi Molina.
  23. Gerrit Cole... isn't very good.
  24. Surprised you were the only team in on him. Just hit 20-HR, and that's after missing time and then starting very slow after coming back.
