So I'm looking over my offense to start the year, and I don't think I've ever experienced such a tire fire: C Miguel Montero - terrible 1B - Prince Fielder - terrible, out for season 3B - Mike Moustakas - out for season in May OF - Yasiel Puig - terrible, in minors OF - Colby Rasmus - terrible Util - Adam Lind - terrible 1B/OF - Ben Paulsen - terrible, in minors This has not been an easy season.

This league is weird in that nobody's team is good enough that anyone should be poking fun at the roster of another playoff contender. There isn't much separation at all from 1-11 or so.c

Yes - the standings. I've pretty much turned over my entire offense. My team now is better than the team that tanked my power ranking standing.

Three years ago if you said the Jays would have a 3-win homegrown CF with elite defense, great speed, and an 85 wRC+ bat, literally everyone familiar with the team would have assumed it was Gose, and nobody would have been surprised at the outcome. As you say, minor league defensive reports can't be trusted. -
Yes, he will most likely look less awful than the -4.8 fWAR pace he's on.

He's the worst. We should look for a replacement if he keeps it up. One great thing about the DDL is that a bad team ignoring their lineups wouldn't fly.

Involving Martin puts him in a tough position. They'd be asking him to report honestly on an issue that directly impacts his teammate, and he knows that Sanchez wants to start. Who knows A) if Martin has anything valuable to add, if he'd be honest, and C) how honesty from Martin would impact his relationship with Sanchez. Best to leave him out IMO. -

Yeah. He had two accounts, one very negative and the other positive. They would frequently argue with each other. This place has been home to some very sick people.

Would be nice to have some quality pitching prospects ready for some MLB innings next year, but Harris and SRF are probably 2018 options more than 2017. It will be interesting to see the team enter the offseason with all 5 rotation spots locked in though. When was the last time that happened?
