It's very bad. Hoskins alone is more valuable than Stroman + Pillar. Let alone adding Crawford + Kingery + Medina to that.

Well, he's refusing to sell the team, which speaks louder than the stream of ******** that flows from his mouth. He paid $92M for the team and stadium in 2003 and Forbes just valued the team at $420M.

We are to be pitied at this point. Team has been a fringe playoff team for a decade and can't afford to pay for a coaching staff, scouting staff, or front office. The arena located in the middle of f***ing nowhere, and the options for getting there are a 45 minute drive from downtown and $20 parking, or a 1-hour bus ride. The in-game entertainment sucks. The greatest player in franchise history has left twice because the owner is a twat. A generational player is going to leave via free agency after next year because the owner is a twat. And despite all this, the owner tries to guilt the fans for not showing up to games, rather than ask himself what he can do to put a quality product on the ice.

Night before the Heritage Classic and Eugene Melnyk embarrasses himself and his team in the national spotlight. I hope this assclown's new liver fails. Fans aren't going to the games because your arena is located in the middle of nowhere, the in game experience is terrible, and the product on the ice reflects the fact that "everything has been cut to the bone" and they have "one of the thinnest management groups in the league". He can't afford to hire a f***ing front office, and is adamant that he'll never sell. Guy deserves to eat a bullet. Just a despicable human, and it shines through every time he opens his mouth.

The Angels look like a very good team now. Only real holes in the lineup are C and 1B. They should sign an Alonso/LoMo type.

Kinda surprised. Projected to go 250/340/440 and 20/75/75/10, and a year removed from a bigger season than that. I'd definitely take a flier for a 2nd if I didn't have a full OF.

So, I'm pretty sure P2F was the only person who voiced an objection to my method of setting the draft order (lottery only for the top 5 picks in the draft, order based on regular season order of finish). I'm considering this a settled issue barring a late wave of indignation.

Toronto seems like somewhere a guy like Cain would be hesitant to sign out of concern for his legs, valid or not.

I don't remember the specifics. Maybe it was 4-5 fWAR. It got fixed eventually, but for a few weeks Burch Smith was projected as CY caliber starter.

I'd trade JD straight up for Luke Weaver if an extension couldn't be worked out. I'm sure that wouldn't be on the table though.

Remember the year Burch Smith had a Steamer projection of like 30 starts, 45 games, 300 IP, and 7 fWAR?

Yeah, Reyes is the guy. I think him or Weaver would have to be in a deal for me to trade JD there. Something like Kelly, Flaherty, and O'Neill would be gross.
