Severino/Tanaka/Cole/Gray/Montgomery/Sabathia is pretty enviable. Looks like 4 3+ win guys, a solid average 5, and then CC.

Also New York is a weird fit for Cole. He doesn't seem like a guy who would handle it well if things started out poorly in that environment.

I have a very hard time believing that this FO would consider commiting 5-6 years to a 30-year old DH.

I agree. He'll probably get the Chris Carter 2016 role: 200-300 PA at DH, mostly against LHP. He's done as a fantasy asset.

I'd easily do that deal without Grichuk. Hell, I'd trade Donaldson for Reyes and a couple lottery tickets. Something like Reyes/Mercado/Gomber would be a fair return.

Does he own him in BBDL too? It's a shame he left LoD. Seeing CarGo and Kemp finally blow up for him in two different leagues would have been amazing.

Interesting player. It wouldn't be surprising if he ran a 30% K-rate and got optioned in May, but it also wouldn't be surprising if he went 310/480 with 30/75/90 and SS/2B eligibility.

Yeah. Britton is close to a dead asset too. Neither me nor J4L19 had any bites on Rosenthal, so I'm not sure why Brotton would be any different at this point.
