Wow, this is huge. Say what you want about Cameron, but he deserves a lot of credit for FG exploding into what it is now. I'm surprised to see him leave after saying for years that he wasn't interested in working in the game. I wonder if Sullivan gets promoted to Managing Editor?

Nah, just do the Erasmo Ramirez and throw him right into the rotation if he needs to be stretched out. Who cares if you get 2-3 innings in his first couple starts and it has to be a bullpen game?

Seems fair. Calhoun always puts up something like 20/75/75 with average rate stats, and he was a top-300 player last year in his worst season.

He's a swingman. Right now, he's the 5th starter. If the team gets a better starter, he moves to the pen until someone gets hurt, at which point he goes back to the rotation.

Yeah. But who knows if Travis will even get past 200 PA this year. Slarte/Diaz probably combine for 500+ PA at 2B.

So the locks to make the lineup/bench are probably: C - Martin 1B - Smoak 2B - Travis 3B - Donaldson SS - Tulowitzki CF - Pillar LF/RF - Pearce LF/RF - DH - Morales SS/2B/3B - Diaz 2B/3B - Solarte LF/RF - Carrera C - Hernandez/Alford and maybe Pompey in play for the last OF spot, and Maile, McGuire, and Jansen in play for the backup C spot. The bench actually looks good.

I don't expect the team to be very god anyway. I think they're doing all they can do given the circumstances: support Tulo and Travis with legitimate MLB players who will be above replacement level if/when they are needed, and doing it without mortgaging the future.

This is a good trade. Infield depth has been improved significantly, and on the cheap this offseason.

Waiver picks are assigned on the sheet using the same rules as the MiLB picks. Please double check your teams to make sure everything looks right. As far as I'm aware, there are no outstanding issues.
