    It’s kind of annoying that this move will fly right over the heads of the casuals who were wondering why Goins was non-tendered and replaced with Ngoepe. This is why. Ngoepe can be stored in AAA until he’s needed, and then banished again. Goins’ utility ran out when his options ran out.

    f*** yeah. Really excited about Gurriel. Ngoepe is where he belongs: waiting in AAA in case the team suffers an injury and needs a bench infielder for a short period.

    If Blackmon were on the block for futures you’d expect a deal built around a blue chip hitting prospect, probably right under the Acuna/Vlad tier. Gleyber Torres, Juan Soto, pre-elbow injury Robles. And then other stuff added.

    lol @ people ready to DFA Grichuk after 65 PA. He's been a useful contributor every year he's been in the majors.

    I think people aren't harsh to Sanchez. I think people objectively point out that he hasn't been very good since 2016.
