It's annoying that AA will get credit for the Braves success this year when he had nothing to do with it. Off the top of my head, the only pieces of consequence he added were Culberson, Gausman, and Anibal Sanchez, who played well, and McCarthy, Moylan, and Duvall, who were s***. Dude waited for the perfect time to bail here before s*** got bad, then the perfect time to waltz in and take the job in Atlanta as things were getting good.

A bit surprised the Leafs waived Pickard and McBackup. Would have thought they'd find a taker for Pickard, and McBackup has been great for them for two years.

There's gonna be a 40-man roster crunch in early November. Currently at 43 guys with Tulo, Drury, and Cruz on the 60 day DL, and only Clippard and Estrada are hitting free agency. Going to have to DFA someone almost immediately.

Well, he’s 35 and the plausible range of outcomes for him next year are anywhere from recent Joe Mauer to 150 wRC+ monster. I understand why people shied away, but I didn’t expect that offer to be the best one.
