This is so much more satisfying than the 2015/2016 version of the team. They're poised to be a powerhouse, but did it while maintaining an absolutely loaded farm and salary flexibility.

I find pitchers like Chatwood (and Ray for that matter) aesthetically unappealing, but there's a very good chance that one of them has an excellent season in 2021.
Yup, Bauer is target #1 for me too. You can also dream on him being a bit more likely to stay healthy/effective because he's so thoughtful and receptive to data on things like spin and biomechanics.
Rosenthal reporting that the Jays are still interested in Brantley. Would be a great addition: great hitter who can make 3-4 competent starts in LF and DH a couple times a week.
