    wRC+ values are routinely catching me off guard this year. Gallo 209/365/361 and a 113 wRC+ Dickerson 279/344/388 and 109 Y. Diaz 256/377/300 and 107 With league OBP down to 0.313, a ~0.350 OBP is so much better than average that you basically don't need any power to be an above-average hitter.

    Imagine being a Mets fan. You're all excited in the offseason because Steve Cohen bought he team. It's a new era! Fast forward a few months: - Your new GM is fired for sexual harassment. - Francisco Lindor milks about 130M more from the team than he should have been able to, and looks like absolute dogshit through two months. - The team inexplicably gives 40M to James McCann, who has been sub-replacement level. - Carlos Carrasco, acquired in the Lindor trade, still hasn't played a game. - Syndergaard leaves his rehab start early with elbow pain. - Conforto, Alonso, and McNeil have all played like s***.

    The Leafs should get by Winnipeg without much issue. It's pretty much a free pass to the semis for them this year.

    Weird that Springs is up for TB. Should be Thompson/Fairbanks then Castillo 8/9 with the top of Toronto's order being so dangerous and all hitting from the right side.
