  1. I'm really enjoying this with the NHL. Playing for baseball with splits and park factors is going to be a blast I think. Can't wait for baseball season.
  2. Just eager to see you crawl out of the basement I guess. And yeah I don't think a single one of your MLB bats will be on your team when you're back at 0.500, so lots to be done there.
  3. Harvey Ryu Rodon Iwakuma (acquired for a haul after I win the 2015 title) Nelson Berrios Pomeranz/Tomlin/Wieland/Parker Has a chance to be the best staff in the league.
  4. 1-2 is top-notch, especially considering age. Pomeranz/Tomlin/Nelson should also yield another SP3/4 type or two. Just a matter adding a couple more reliable guys and your staff could be excellent very soon.
  5. Harvey Ryu Nelson Tomlin Pomeranz Parker Volquez Romo With another SP2/3, a closer, and some luck with the back end guys getting rotation spots and performing well, Boxy has a 0.500 pitching staff IMO.
  6. I think I like the Castillo/Norris side of this. Ryu is awesome, but his shoulder is scary.
  7. I kind of buy Francisco getting eaten alive by high-leverage pen guys with great breaking stuff or, god forbid, a lefty specialist.
  8. Rays LF DH platoon guy count: Jaso, DeJesus, Francisco
  9. I don't think Oakland would take Navarro for free.
  10. Would anyone here trade Pompey before Sanchez?
  11. I never pictured Boxy as a fat guy. Weird.
  12. I'm having the Rays fanbase over tonight so we can get drunk and re-watch games from 2008.
  13. You realize that Robertson is a better prospect than Sanchez, yes?
  14. I feel like the A's might try to keep Zobrist around.
  15. C - Rivera 1B - Loney 2B - Franklin 3B - Longoria SS - Cabrera CF - Kiermaier LF - Souza RF - Jennings BN - DeJesus (OF) BN - Jaso BN - Guyer (OF) BN - Forsythe Unless other moves are made, it seems as though they might think Jaso can catch twice a week.
  16. I still think it would have been smart to keep Escobar around just in case.
  17. This doesn't seem to make much sense for TB: - Cabrera is a better 2B than SS - Relying on Nick Franklin is probably a bad idea - Jaso is not a catcher anymore, and he's not taking 1B reps away from Loney, so he's a DH platoon bat for TB - Kiemaier, Jennings, and Souza have the OF locked down, so DeJesus and Guyer is a fine platoon at DH - I don't see the need for Jaso
  18. I know not of what you speak.
  19. You know, the A's might be pretty good this year: C - Vogt/some guy 1B - Freiman/Davis 2B - Zobrist 3B - Lawrie SS - Escobar CF - Crisp LF - Gentry/Fuld RF - Reddick DH - Butler BN - Freiman/Davis BN - Vogt/some guy BN - Gentry/Fuld BN - Semien Defense and roster flexibility for days.
  20. Redmond is a nice 7th pen guy. He should never see anything resembling a high-leverage situation, but he can come in and clean up messes without gas-canning the game away. Keep him around until/unless he gets into the $1 million+ salary range and then find someone else who can do his job for the min.
