  1. Would anyone here give Hendriks another shot at starting??
  2. Interesting idea Then Smoak finally plays every day?
  3. Agree on all counts Plus, adding a starter helps the BP further by moving Sanchez or Dounbront there
  4. LOL True After you rode Sabbathia's poor ass every 3 days down the stretch. So maybe it's time to trade another Cy Young winner after all!!
  5. Supposedly he wouldn't sign for 12.5M x 2 years for them. Then he did with us.
  6. I'd give up more for Kluber, but WTH would they ever trade him
  7. Carrasco is on a nice contract too 2015 - $2,337,000 2016 - $4,500,000 2017 - $6,500,000 2018 - $8,000,000 2019 - $9,000,000 Team Option, $662.5k Buyout 2020 - $9,500,000 Team Option, $662.5k Buyout
  8. Clayton Kershaw has struck out *44* batters since he last walked someone FFS
  9. Dunno It happened with a reliever. Rincon. A's.
  10. I fell asleep during game. Major bummer we lost this one when we still had a chance despite a bad pitching matchup. It doesn't get any easier the next couple days. Kazmir and Felix Hernandez up next.
  11. Meaningless. Chance of trading for Latos 1/500
  12. LOL I almost wrapped that with Deadpool quotes Now I see he thanked it All in good fun
  13. MLBTR: Toronto has long been said to be pursuing one or more arms, with reports suggesting that the team is exploring a wide variety of possibilities. Latos is not as exciting as some of the top names that could be available, but he is relatively affordable from a salary perspective (compared, at least, to players like David Price and Cole Hamels) and likely won’t cost as much in terms of prospects as names like Johnny Cueto and Jeff Samardzija. That’s especially important for a Toronto club that reportedly has little payroll space available and is reluctant to part with young pitching (especially given that many of those arms factor into the present big league roster equation).
  14. I agree those were bad moves at the time You just can't compare that to acquiring Donaldson and Martin. Those were all-around great additions from both a talent and clubhouse perspective.
  15. Me too I think adding a Hamels or a Price would drastically increase our playoff chances (both of making them and perhaps moreso advancing in them) FTR I thought the Price trade was a good one for Detroit, but I never thought trading Cespedes for Lester was a good idea
  16. Good Adding a top starter helps the bullpen anyway
  17. I know you're mostly joking but... at least Donaldson and Martin are really good players in addition to being positive presences in the clubhouse.
  18. Sure didn't work so well for Detroit (Price) and Oakland (Lester)
  19. If your goats can look like that with some hair dye, I want one. Or 3.
