    Hmmmmm How often does a team have both the league Cy Young Winner and the MVP (2 separate players, not a pitcher winning both) That seems like a rare thing. And it could happen here.

    Those are probably the deals he was suggesting on the radio, he just didn't name any names OTOH Grienke and Scherzer have been worth every penny (so far)

    FWIW Jim Bowden thinks that prices for ace caliber pitchers will stay sky high, but that the price for second tier guys is going to drop due to unfavorable risk/reward and some bad deals from the past couple of years.
