    In the NL it's not even close. Harper leads in WAR by a mile. Even if the Nats fail to make the playoffs, he'll still win it because Goldy and the DBacks ain't making the playoffs either.

    To be fair, the Angels fortunes are more dependant on Trout playing well then the Jays on Donadlson playing well. Both are awesome players. But the Angels offense is so much less deep than ours that if Trout goes MIA for a few weeks they could be f***ed. Some writers would use this as reason to give Trout the MVP over Donaldson even if they finished with identical stats.

    Both statistically and emotionally it will come down to who finishes stronger. If one of them carries their team innto the playoffs with a monster September they will win it with an extra 0.5 WAR and the dramatics that sports writers live to write about.

    A reasonably sized minority seem to have major problems with Buck. I don't.

    Agree on all counts Other than occasionally yelling overexcitedly about fly balls that will be caught, and the mis-pronounciations (which are just humorous), he's actually pretty decent Tabler is awful and should have been replaced by Alan Ashby years ago. He should be replaced by Joe Siddall now.

    Yeah, you've always been a fan and I can't blame you. He's one of those ultra-dependable guys that all managers would kill for. Most people thought the Marlins were crazy for the $ they gave him. But until you see what he does year after year first hand all the time, it's all to easy to under-appreciate him. He certainly never wowed on the radar, but he's just so effective and dependable, and fields and controls the running game so well he's worth way more to a team that you'd ever realize by just looking at his record and ERA like so many do.

    Then you'll love MLB.tv. It looks better than Satellite IYAM, if you're on a really good high speed network. And even on a smartphone, the image quality over a good cellular connection is incredible. Hopefully someone can help you with a discount code.

    The best thing about MLB.tv is how you can use it on any platform with the same account. Smart TV's, computers, tablets, video game consoles and your smartphone will all be able to access it.

    Also, there *are* free online streaming TV sports sites. But they're labile, come and go, pop-up prone, and it's considered by some to be poor etiquette to share links to streams on the forums. However, Google would be happy to help you. A search for, example, "watch sports online free streaming" would probably steer you in the right direction.
