    The good thing, in terms of excitement, is that the division really means something now. Of course, that's not good for us if we end up a WC team.

    Looking at standings today there are not a lot of teams really in contention in the AL Blue Jays and Yankees both look highly likely to make the playoffs, one as a division champ and one as a WC. Orioles and Rays are too far back and probably not good enough to make crazy runs. The Central has been over for weeks. Royals own it. The rest all all pretenders. The West has 3 teams in congtention. Most likely 2/3 of Astros Rangers and Angels and make the playoffs, with one getting beaten back in head to head games.

    I admit it. I hate the Orioles, and Machado in particular. If this frustrated tirade had been from a player on another struggling borderline-in-contention-team like the Nationals or Angels I would not have bothered making a thread. I get satisfaction from seeing this whiny bitch being upset. There. Satisfied?
