I got this message from a poster that hasn't been approved to post (and I can't approve). I had a death in the family and wouldn't be able to send him an appropriate response plus in game ticket and seating issues this year are not my forte as I have only been to one game. Help this guy out please.
I check out the forum every once in a while and saw the "Coming to Toronto" thread started by an out of town guy looking to get some info. I'm in a very similar boat, coming from Alberta to see that same Boston series for my first ever Jays game. I made this account yesterday, but didn't receive a confirmation email so I couldn't post in the thread. I saw how you offered to help him out and was hoping I could get some advice as well.
The difference is that I have a hotel, but only have tix to the Friday and Saturday game. I'm thinking that my only options for Sunday tix is Stubhub or scalpers, but Stubhub is expensive and I'm unsure about risking it by waiting until I get there to scalp for tix. A friend of mine went last year and scalped, but that was early on in the year before we got hot, so I'm thinking it might be tougher now.
One other thing is that we bought pretty bad seats for the Saturday game and would prefer to the flight deck. Any idea how early we would have to get to the ballpark for that?
Do you have any experience or advice on this? Thanks.
at 19 days in Buffalo already. Would have cost him an option (his first stint was rehab and doesn't count so it's only from August 1st to 18 that counts)
I still get the CIBC rate at Novotel and have been getting $105 weekends (non busy ones). Much nicer hotel and great location. Strathcona was my poor weather not going home from work hotel, rooms are tiny but clean and weekday rates are great. Love the pub downstairs too, same people there that were there 20 years ago.
We should pin one of our hotel and restaurant recommendations. Don't listen to the Swede, only go to Fran's if it is 3:00 am and you are hammered (I'm sure the breakfast is fine...but Frans has gone downhill over the past 20 years). 100% you should go the AirBnB route as I did a quick search and even the Strathcona is $370 a night. That's opening weekend of TIFF the city is going to be packed. If you want a nice restaurant that weekend you should book ahead. The bars and pubs should be crowded too but I'll provide you with a list if you let me know what kinds of places you like.
I have to go into the Annex shortly to pick up Argos tickets for tomorrow's game. I think a Pizza Gigi stop is in order.

There is a good chance that someone voted for someone in this thread and they will in a month vote for the same person to be left off of the post season roster.
If you find a post where I made a rape commentary I apologize. I'm trying to hard to change my language. I stole this off of a Reddit site for better terms for the bad trades. I've been doing my best to change my language.
Unfortunately just one of 25K today. I'll be back active on the forum and will post this site every time someone on this board becomes one of these stats. We are not going to be one of the traditional sport sites with this stuff.

I would have did well from what I remember of my picks. I think it was Giolito, Salazar, Ramos, EE, Dozier, Correa, Donaldson, Franklin, Harper, Pollock I think. I can't remember if it was Harper or someone else.
because of the 48 hour rule, it seems like it would be easy to be prepared for anyway. I think you need to fail two tests for drugs of abuse before you have to do your treatment program too. And the first positive test never goes public, which is why it's really a non-issue in baseball at all.
could that be perception? Hmmm lets look at the stats. Oh wait FT percentage hasn't really changed over the years at all.

RAPE SUPPORTER!
I just meant that based on your argument that it can't be proven. You make a statement that all rapists are evil. I argue that science can't prove they are evil, so it's an untrue statement. You can back up stats like the psychological effects to the victims and stuff like that which can be proven. But my argument back would remain...it doesn't prove that the rapist is evil. Moral and common sense tell us that I'd be an idiot in this argument...but I can keep saying the same thing.
We can prove that athletes are more athletic, throwing harder, and have more measurements to test that. But we can't prove your argument with numbers. So I'm going to come right out and say it! You are obviously a rapist sympathizer and f*** it a supporter of rape.
