    no, just no. LL is about representing your town/city. Going through the process of regional, provincial, National and then Williamsport, is what the LL is all about. Not to mention...good luck trying to scout u12 kids Nationally for an All Star game

    meh, Sully straight out says in the article that it proves nothing about Saunders abilities in clutch situations. It's just showing that he's been absolutely s*** in the highest leverage situations this season. Grant's comments are a typical over dramatization of what is being said...which no one has said he'd continue to be bad in those situations in the future. He could have pointed out that in 8 high leverage situations BJ Upton had struck out 7 times with the Jays as well.

    I'm just thinking this September and give him one more spring training to prove he can be a bench bat. Goins is gone this off-season anyway.

    Seems Berti might make sense to add to the 40 for a September callup. Among the quickest in the org and plays solid D at three positions. Makes solid contact and is a great bunter too.

    Pittsburgh needs pitching badly. It would shock me if Huntington doesn't talk to his old boss about Stroman or Sanchez. Not saying that either should be moved but that would be the price and the relationship between the Huntington and Shapiro is strong. Cutch, even after this bad season, should be projected to be a 3.5 to 4.0 WAR guy.

    I find it amazing that so many fans would have rather cut Dickey, and pay him not to play at points over the past 4 years...but are apprehensive about offering a 1 year deal. Even if it's a few million too many it's got to be offered and isn't going to cost the Jays getting anyone else on a long term deal.

    He can hit fastballs. That's all he can hit but he can hit over 92 MPH fastballs too.

    This is about you always making this your opinions known on how you think this board should run and about moderation. We haven't had big fights between the general public and mods since the off-season when we added new mods. Yet it seems like you want to make a good percentage about issues with mods and this board. I don't read enough of anyone's stuff these days to know if you add anything of value...yet of the past 50 or so reported posts 20 have been against you. Which makes me think you are a problem. My statement was pretty much, don't tell others what to do, and go about posting. If others language and posting style here are not for you, then there probably are boards that are more suited. I'd also suggest you not report mods...it's never really going to go well for you. Even though I'm sure everyone of the mods, except for Admin, Deadpool and myself feel that what I said was 100% inappropriate.

    Am I in last...I quickly looked and none of my players did anything that I saw other than Musgrove was okay. I can't access gaming sites at work.

    So I got the Mexican...you know how I hate having depth. After the games next next Sunday I'll consider moving him or Franco. I honestly don't expect to be online from Wednesday to Sunday (and only a little now until then) so be prepared for zero response if you send something now.

    the 2012 draft/international class that was the reason that AA cited as the reason he was able to make the offseason moves is actually looking more like Stroman, with maybe Urena and Baretto and nothing else. As a system by BA ranks they went from 2011 to 2016 4th, 5th, 12th, 15th, 9th and 26th. The knock on his systems IMO are that he seldom had "ready" talent. Which is why using it as trade bait was probably the better plan for him.

    I figured he had progressed past High A...he first made it to A+ in 2014. I'm not saying it's impossible but usually through trade talks and who else is available the GM's have a good idea who will get selected.

    How many sub AA players were taken last year. The only one I can think of off hand was Rutckyj, who the Braves returned to the Yankees anyway.

    I always judge it by the old rule of 5 minor league seasons. but I forgot it is worded "their fifth draft after the signing" So Urena is one you have to protect. I move Alford, Urena and Ramirez to the 40 man. There are only a handful of teams that could take one of those sub AA pitchers and keep them up all year. And Dermody you might add to the 40 this year and give him some blowouts but he's not real loss if you lose him.

    who is on that list? I know Harold Ramirez, but straight from Jays drafted players I see DJ Davis (no need), Matt Smoral (ha!), Mitch Nay (no one is going near him), Borucki (nope), Alford...I suppose you almost have to but they may apply for an extension based on his Football time, they won last time they applied with Hech so maybe. Any internationals? I think they traded all the 2011 signees but Osuna.
