    The Tigers and Astros are selling postseason tickets (surprisingly the Yankees are not). This is something every team does and the Jays are selling season tickets for next year in doing this. You are just being grossly premature.

    Since the Jays were swept by the Rays in May it's been really tight in the AL with Texas in first down to Detroit in 5th four games behind them.     Rays are slowly taking these former middle infielders and turning into a team that might score some runs. A few of the pitching prospects work out and they could be competitive as quick as next year.

    On the Odor/Bautista front, since the punch Odor has a .503 Slugging percentage (42 points above his career numbers), Jose .471. I think the Jays need Jose to punch someone to get his power back

    I'm just talking team revenue. Doesn't matter who is broadcasting Sportsnet is still getting the ad revenue (they just have to pay for the feed). A bunch of us were trying to figure out last year what percentage of ad slots they sell ahead of time. Jays out early and Sportsnet needs to have pre-sold those late rounds.

    it's estimated that a deep playoff run is worth $30M in additional and future revenue to a team. keep in mind that home teams do not get much of the ticket revenue for playoff games.

    17 year olds that have put up a better slugging percentage in the APPY are few and far between (of course there haven't been a lot in the league either) I looked up the last 10 years. Ozzie Albies 2014 .452 Wilmer Flores 2008 .490 as a 16 year old. Billy Rowell 2006 .507 The AZL and GCL tend to get more 17 year olds.

    We could also give them a C- on the Smoak extension. It was such an unnecessary move, but at least the value is low enough that it just doesn't matter. Between that, the Upton trade and the attempted Bruce trade it's obvious the FO is super concerned about how few bodies the team has under contract next year.

    I wouldn't normally encourage people from the board to troll someone on Twitter...but these two are real *******s and harassing a friend of the old board "HiSockMojo". it seems that HiSock asked these two to give someone credit for a blue Jay pic they tweeted and they took to bashing her. I know we have some of the best trolls on this board and although you probably don't know HiSock go ahead and troll these stupid f***s all you want (although they seem to love the attention).
