    Lots of nice negativity about the team right now, so a great time to bring out the best thread of the year. I will have mine shortly. As the guy with the most positivity towards the team (I have a sizable 100 win bet even) I will be prepared for the ridicule when I am inevitably wrong.

    This is why my other dynasty league limits SP designations to 8 (and they are weekly moves, so you have to pick your 5 starters on Monday).

    Then expand the league by 4 teams. Brings back scoring and the league doesn't end up losing veterans like Votto. It's a win-win for everyone but traditionalists.

    which scenario is more likely though. 1. New legit poster tries to sign up cause they want to respond to something right away, but ends up having to wait for a mod, and ends up losing interest when they finally are approved. 2. Someone is excited to join but doesn't sign up because there are bots posting.

    who are the rebuilding teams? I have 2 top 75 dynasty guys at SS (Cruz and Volpe) and a 3rd (Pena) in the 250 range. Currently don't have a top SP (Senga is borderline top 30 dynasty I suppose) or catcher, always love high end RP's in this pool too. would move a tier 3 SP (Stroman, Ashcraft) and a SS (Volpe or Cruz) for a top 10 starter.

    I take it as a positive that conditioning is being prioritized this season. My biggest knock on the front office was there appeared to be nothing done between the disconnect with players and coaching last year. The assumption was that more of the coaches would be removed. So now if physical and mental conditioning are being prioritized, if success isn't there the F.O. and coaching staff have failed and have to go

    fair enough but Steamer doesn't really do a good job of projecting plate appearances. Not sure why Depth Charts hasn't calculated in Steamer yet. When that happens I expect KK to come down to 1.5. ZIPS is higher on him.

    The three I had in my head were O's, Astros and Rangers. Wasn't thinking Siri would be projected ahead of him, and Cards make sense as everyone on their team plays a little OF. Decided to look up the others. Mets only have Bader and Nimmo. White Sox only have Robert and Eloy (who won't see much or any time). Pirates it's just Reynolds and Suwinski. Dodgers I just wasn't thinking of Betts but would have included them.
