    Repeatable delivery of pitches off the plate is never good! lol In all seriousness, if he has such a great delivery, this walk problem should have been fixed.

    Beginning of last year or even the year before with an ERA of high 5s, I said we should buy low on Jake Arrieta. 2.09 in 8 starts this year. Would make a good #5.

    Maybe AA is taking a shot in the dark, moving Sanchez to AAA, hope he performs well to up his value, and dump him. Though I'm not sure how high his trade value is with his current walk rate no matter how good he pitches.

    Also I'm not around much right now, neither are some of other mods at times, so if there's something that needs to be talked about, let us know. I never visit GDT, this forum or the old one, so I miss what goes on there.

    Yeah we're discussing GDTs in general as well. But I've said it before, we're not going to ban someone for being negaive if they can back it up. But if they're being negative just to troll, we won't allow that. If someone is negative or is trolling, I don't know why some of you have to get so worked up. Sure I used to back in the day too, but when it's obvious the person is doing it just to get a reaction, why give it to them?

    I wasn't in there, so I couldn't stop it sooner, but I gave both a warning. One decided to continue. Would be stupid if I said I was going to give a warnign first then ban, and for me to not follow through if it continued. Mods and I are having some discussions as well.

    Moderators will now be issuing infraction for acting like a ********. The infraction will be a warning, if you get another infractino, you will be temp banned, and bans will get longer if it continues. I'm tired of posts turning to s***. New members avoid posting because they see some of the garbage that goes on. Go tell them off in PM if you want, but stop ruining threads. We have to crack down on this becuase it's getting out of hand.

    Maybe they just said f*** it, we can't help this guy, maybe someone in AAA can help him. I've personally given up on the guy, I hope he can prove me wrong. A couple years ago, his walk rates were okay vs righties (I think) and terrible vs lefties (may have them mixed). But lefties weren't hitting him so it wasn't bad. I figured he'd be able to straighten the walk issues out if it was just vs lefties. But last I checked it was terrible vs both left and right which makes me think he's not close to fixing it.

    Too bad they didn't have the camera angles we have today, probably would have made it 5x as good.

    Guillen one has always beeen one of my favorite ones. I think Ankiel has a coule more good ones not on that list. Bo Jackson one is pretty good too, mainly because he did it from a standstill rather than use his momentum.

    I'm excited for Hoffman, and I don't think he's going to come as cheap as some people think. Of course injury doesn't help with his leverage, but this guy was probably going to be a top five pick in the draft if he wasn't hurt. I can't wait for him to start pitching here. It's like we got a top 5 pick.
