It is just basic human fallacies

Not sure what this one is called but it's probably something like the Status Quo Bias or Regret Aversion or Loss Aversion 

e.g. the bias against making an active choice and losing. when you make an active choice and it goes wrong, you feel it more. when your favourite team's manager makes an active choice and it goes wrong, you get more madder.

Bauer is a FA this offseason.  I wonder what he's going to get?  Not a huge track record of course, but coming off a huge season.

it could be Blake snell didn’t want to face the crowd at Tampa after selling out.  Deep down, some sigfried and Roy type complex that I don’t fully understand

Feels like we’re seeing the natural attrition that comes for teams that spend like LA: they have a lot of old, banged up guys on big contracts that can’t really be moved

I think those cleats are badass and if they get eliminated that's some display worthy memorabilia.
