On that walk off infield single from McNeil, Giminez was positioned at the edge of the infield dirt and the outfield grass, way too deep for a speedy runner imo.

McNeil has 20th percentile sprint speed he's quite slow now

Got a strike 3 to Bolte but the ump didn't call the check swing 

Clipped the bottom of the zone twice or thrice and didn't get the calls 

The walks were egregious though. Dude was tanking everything down

Could add this to the fire Schneider thread.  Who is responsible for this?  I guess the infield coach who answers to Schneider.

good thing we had him for those 5-1 games though...

good thing we saved Miles for Wednesday (5 days off now)

I'll be OK with the latter if we we use Miles as the 5th starter again.  At this point it would be 3 starts 10-12 innings.  

If we pitch Miles tonight after Soriano gets behind 4-0 then the Schneider firing date moves to September 8th (will be September 9th on the East Coast).

McNeil has 14th percentile exit velocity, his opp-o ground balls will presumably be even slower. 

Dave Roberts would have had GIminez 10 feet closer in.
