Never a big fan of Joe Carter.  For 30 years I always thought, great moment but they would have won in 1993 anyway.   It was only game 6, would have won it the next day, or in extras if they only got one run in. or someone else would have done it...  but obviously not. 

Perspective changed a lot after 2025 World Series.   Jays had 15 chances in game 6 and 7 when a homerun would have won it and never came up with the big hit.   A single fly ball, or one more hit would have won it.  

Probably 21 chances when you include the 8th inning of both those games.  Like a single extra hit, to get an extra guy home even in the 8th would have done it. 

Thank you Joe Carter and Dave Winfield (1992) you are true men that have given us older ones a moment of happiness the young ones have never felt.  They have had the odd joy here and there, but mostly pain and never complete victory.

He was harassing/making moves on a young (18 yr old I believe) female employee of the jays at a jayscare event. 

No employee deserves to be harassed by a coworker, especially one with as much power as Alomar. This is like the recent Phil Mickelson case.

I have figured out why the jays offense is s***, everyone is too scared to play good or hit homeruns because the next day they won’t be in the lineup because we have to give everyone a turn, so if they just play like s*** they will atleast get to play everyday

My fault if I dont want people cancelled 4 life for making mistakes that arent criminal in nature.  Yes that sounds horrible and he was already fired/punished for his screw up, I think enough time has passed where we could move on.

Context kind of matters.  If it was in the 90s it may have been considered more acceptable.
