Miles coming into today had a 2.17 ERA, and 3.05 xFIP. How the hell does a pitcher with only 4.1 innings above rookie ball over a 4 year period come in and do this? The numbers aren't a fluke. He really is pitching this well.

He’s incredibly polished. It’s rare for a random rookie with little pro experience to combine good stuff with at least decent enough command. His body has been his biggest enemy his whole career.
