Mark my words. Bottom of our lineup will be the x factor tonight.

Trey probably more than anything, but those guys at the bottom stepped up tonight!

Got the win but that was some god-awful pitch calling for Varland.

Dude can throw 100mph fastballs yet they had him throwing his 3rd and 4th best pitches the entire inning.

Seriously though. He even had to shake off that last pitch to throw a heater.

Yesavage stepped up and pitched like an Ace today. Very much needed that. Now can they find a way to win again tomorrow.

Beauty!

His only Achilles heel is his occasional loss of the strike zone. But when he's throwing strikes, he's a beauty. Clearly the Yankees don't concern him.

His fastball can be hunted and hammered when he throws it too much

We saw at all of last season

Didn't Aaron Judge, Jazz, Polanco, and Cal Raleigh* all hit game changing/winning homeruns off him?

I know Judge's was on that 99 mph fastball in for the most legendary clutch homerun of all time, can't remember what pitch Polanco, Jazz and Raleigh's pitch.

* Springer unchanged that game 7

Not that I am any kind of expert on this but seems like he isn't getting quite as much chase as last year, so getting behind in some counts, but is doing a good job hitting the edges of the strike zone.

Might be a similar guy to Gausman, where it's a constant battle to make sure there are no tells between fastball and splitter.
