I think it is time to resurrect the homerun contest.  It should be more exciting again with Popkins having the boys hitting for power again.  Keep reading for details on how this would work.  Brock has generously offered to provide some prizes to the winners!  Keep reading for details on how the contest works.

 

This is a simple, free contest that runs until July 10th. The goal of the game is to pick one player on the Jays that you think will hit a home run during each game. You do not need to make a pick each game and you can join in whenever you want (although more picks = better chance at winning). Bonus points will be awarded for multi-home run games and streaks. The member with the most points at the end of each half will win. Good luck everyone.. Let's go Blue Jays!

3 Game Streak +1, 4 Game Streak +2 etc.

*Games without a home run don't count

 

Player points doubled on Saturdays

 

 

 

• Pick a player on the Jay's starting lineup that you think will hit a home run at ANY TIME before each game.
• If your pick hits a home run you will earn the corresponding points.
• You can only pick the same player 3 times each week (Monday-Sunday)
• You must have your pick in before the first Blue Jays at bat.
• Point values may change so review values posted above before each game.
• The season will be broken into two games, second half begins post allstar break. Winner of each half will win the prize.
• If you are going away, you can PM mphenhef your picks for the upcoming games (*Max 5 games)
• Streaks will win you bonus points (bonus points posted above). Streaks must be in consecutive games, if you miss a game your streak is over.
• *Player points will be doubled on Saturdays
